ADDING PATTERNS ON GIMP
[pattern and help credits go to the group CR GFX helpers


1. click here for patterns.
2. pick your pattern.
3. open up gimp
4.open the pattern u got
5.go to the tab edit->go down to copy
6.then go to file->new->then just click ok
7.then go on to edit->paste as pattern->save any name u want->click ok

THERE YA GO! xD
note-patterns are usually used for filling up text or profile spots ect.

adding patterns on text
[note: this tut works well with the font cheri liney]
IF U GONNA USE THIS YA BETTER PUT MY CREDIT
screen shot coming soon

1.go to file>new....>set size by 400x600>advanced options...>fill with...>transperency
2.a grey and black ceherboard back. apper. type your text.
3.select ur pattern on ur patter,layers,undo, and laayer channel/color dock.
4.get magic wand tool and click INSIDE the text. not outside or the rim on the txt it ruins everything.
5. go to edit>fill with pattern
6.TA DA!
