I was home alone one night. I was watching Emperor of the Sea when I heard moving around upstairs. In the room above me. I knew that my parents weren't coming home for another three hours and no one else was going to come over. So naturally I freaked out!! I called my friend who was at work and told her that I thought someone was in my house. As I was saying that, the noise upstairs started getting louder and louder, like someone was trying to break through something. I thought I was going to have a heart attack! My friend told me to call the police. When I did I noticed that the noise had somewhat stopped. I went to my door and listened for anything, I didn't hear anything. When I got ahold of the police they told me to hide somewhere until they got there. And this is where it got scarier! As I hung up I heard the noise again, but this time I recognized it as someone coming down the stairs where I was at! Instead of hiding, I grabbed one of my hockey sticks and started climbing out of my window with the phone. I got outside and ran to the front yard, right when the police pulled up!! They told me to sit in their car while they went into the house with their guns out!! A couple of minutes later they came out with a man in handcuffs. I couldn't really see him because it was very dark. They put him in one of their cars and drove off. They came back to me and told me that this guy had severel knifes on him and was in a bedroom downstairs. Apparently he was smelling my bed sheets!! I was so damn disgusted that I threw up everywhere! I stayed with the police for two more hours when my parents came home. When they found out, they were totally freaked out. We all stayed at a hotel and eventually moved a month later. I never want to go back to that house again! As for the guy? I found out that he was a serial rapist and murderer! Thank God I called the police and went out my window!!
