Sex before marriage... It's your own business, really. I say to wait until you're at least 16 and/or wait for love,but you can do your thing, as long as you're responsible for your actions.

I honestly have nothing against it, but I think before you do it both you and your partner should have a good and trusting relationship and be 100% ready. Sexual activity is normal and healthy, and it's sad that primitive concepts of morality preach sex being wrong. It's a controversial issue nowadays, especially with the brainwashings of religion, the teachings of our parents who have also been brainwashed and the highly inaccurate sex education classes making young people consider sex to be "bad".

Yeah, sex can have it's consequences, but that's what protection is for, and even if you're not ready, foreplay activities with your partner (masturbation, oral, etc.) are also very healthy. As long as you're not sleeping around with every Joe and Jane, you're fine.

All that being said, I find the gender bias towards sex a bit disappointing. If a teenage boy wants to or has had sex, he will receive praise from his friends and support from his parents. A girl, on the other hand, would only be known as a whore and if her parents found out, I can't say they'd be too happy. Yes, I know about the old sexism of society, which frankly still exists, but I'm sure most women would agree with me that it's a bit frustrating not being allowed the same freedoms as males, and not only in the sex department.
