-_- I hate it cause they don't send us the motherfricking school supply list until like 2 effing weeks before.

And my friend receives it the day before school officially starts.

Sucks man, sucks.

I agree with everything you said! I also think the same of children going into school for the first time, who are all "I can't wait to go to school," then realize: This sucks, especially today. I remember when I was in Kindergarten I only had to go half a day (I was in the afternoon class.) and we just learned reading and math basics and our ABCs, now kids are expected to read beforehand, go a full day and do things like multiplication. (Which works for Japan, but in America-we haven't been trained that way XD) I hated school back then though (I still dislike it, but can deal), I just wanted to run around, but my father sat me down forced me to do my work.

As for the Special ED, that is true. My brother is in it also, because he has ADHD, but he's not dumb, (I say he is, but I'm his sister.) he's just lazy. I doesn't help that he basically had a free ride through school (Where I live they won't fail middle schoolers, even though he failed nearly everything.) And I had an aquaintance in it because she had slight dyslexia, but she was very smart, she just had trouble reading and writing sometimes.

That does suck, I don't even get a list, but don't need much anyway.

As for what you said-That's not right, in my view, because there's no such thing as "Settling in" to the school routine after two months off. You get to work right away, and if you don't have an adequate amount of time to buy the supplies, you're screwed. I feel for your friend, the day before is too short a notice, that means you'd be out all night shopping and wake up tired-er then you would be if you had gone to bed resonably because you had a free last day of summer.

Yeah.. I agree with everything you said. Last month I saw clothes in the mall for fall and winter when school hasnt even started yet. And the comercials are SO ANNOYING. OMFG I wanna kill who ever comes up with these stupid concepts for these commercials. Like some kid would actually think "I can't wait to go back to school!" *runs in as fast as he/she can in the school* Hm.. my school pretty much stopped giving everyone lists (I think) and everything on the lists they have in the school. And yeah.. I hate that you have to look a certain way to fit in.

My friend doesn't even get it by mail, she has to pick it up herself. =[ I feel for her.

Well to me that means traffic a bigger headache and takes longer to get someplace in morning or afternoon. Reading and righting never taught me nothing. Oh I should not criticize your school teacher most do not want to be there ether, but they can only teach to those how want to learn and half of what they teaches is so far off the mark it not funny. Math is math reading and writing should just be that no political agenda behind it and all the other course can and are warped.

Yeah, I hate the early commercials and the winter clothes out in summer. (Reminds me of Christmas decor in October.) And even if the kid was jumping and dancing in school, they'd get in huge trouble. (Nor are Hallways that white and clean) And, I gave up on fitting in during middle school, and actually came up with the clothes thing after watching a documentary on how advertising corporations are trying to promote such things to children, who, of course, buy into them.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. That made me laugh so hard XD And yeah.. I love how they never show the teachers in those commercials.. way to make it feel like school. And hallways would never be that clean, I agree.

To be honest, I actually started buying winter clothing early while it's cheap. That way, when they raise the prices (which will be soon, because it is getting cooler), I'll bet all set.

...Those jackets will probably be sitting in the closet for awhile, though.

It's fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion (And I respect that). And to be honest by the end of summer I miss my friends too...It's not that I mind going back, just the going back Scene. (Commercials,"The right" clothes, etc...) And, just curious, is International Bacc. a course? If so, it sounds interesting.
