For me it was,
Dead or Alive 4
Gears of War 1
and Call of Duty 2 (When the series was actually good. I don't respect Black OPS or MW's Approach.)

hmmm...I don't really remember...when I bought my 360 which was pretty late in the game, I bought like 6 games off of amazon for really cheap.

First game I got was GTA IV with mines, because tried to play GTA IV on PC but couldn't because my specs weren't up to scratch, well that was back then anyway but not now.

I got my Xbox as a special edition red one, packaged with Resident Evil 5 and Halo Wars. The first game I bought for it was Bad Company.

First game ever was Oblivion, Collector's Edition. That was followed by Perfect Dark: Zero, which got me into the competitive multiplayer. Then I got Halo 2, and my future was sealed...
