Sakura from Naruto.

I agree with Aoi. All she did was cry at the end, lol. Her powers suck and actually are at best a double edged sword.
It was even more annoying that her true crash wasn't the kewl main but the kewl side kick of the main.

My hated anime character is Makoto from School Days. Just watch the anime.

I hated the teacher from Highschool of the dead....

but besides that, the only character I can really think of is Patricia from Lucky Star, and even then, it was only her voice that was seriously annoying (in the dubbed version at least)

Light Yagami from Death note and Maka from Soul Eater.

Kaoru (Kenshin)- Gosh, she is my most hated character. I hate the way she treats Kenshin! And she's supposedly a really good fighter but she always gets captured or whatnot! She's completely useless!

Sakura- same reasons as Kaoru, plus she's so clingy to Sasuke. And she cries a lot.

Sasuke- no explanation.

Naruto- I don't hate him as much as Sasuke and Sakura, but he is still very annoying

Shou Tucker (FMA)- Do I need to say why?

Usagi (Sailor Moon)- She is very annoying, cries a lot, and is a total wimp! How in the world does she save the day?! Why does everyone in anime love her?! The show is one of my favorite anime and I love all the other characters, but I hate Usagi in the anime (especially dubbed, and I usually like dubs. Her voice was really annoying). I like her a lot more in the manga.

Senjougahara (Bakemonogatari)- I usually don't care for tsunderes, but she is by far the most annoying one I've seen. I really feel sorry for Araragi. Plus, I want him to end up with Hanekawa (though Hachikuji is my favorite girl)

I don't really know one by name, but the reason they are hated is because they don't know what do to with themselves during the episode. They try to be a supporting character, but end up ruining the story or what the main person is trying do to that is cool or heroic.
