I have no idea why the show runner's wanted to keep her around, yet they had no qualms prepetrating all kinds of different heartbreak to Shirley. Or Nunally for that matter! I get that Lelouch is motivated by a love of his sibling but she is absolutely worthless. I am rewatching the series and am through the first season, though I can't remember what happens in R2, I'm sure I'm going to be annoyed.

Okay, I may have been a little bit harsh, she is not necessarily lacking in knowledge, however in terms of common sense, now that's a different story. Her play-on acting to be air-headed is what really grinds my gears.
