Lol, and I thank you for keeping good character even though you have a different set of beliefs. I can tell you for sure, that I wasn't like that in the past. God taught me the humility that I am no greater than the next person beside me if I go down to cause disruption and break the peace, for I judge no one, because the Lord who sees all judges me, and if one should teach other people, firstly one should practise what comes forth from one's own mouth, lest another turns around and catches them at a contradiction and therefore defile their name and strip them of the righteousness in which they claim to have.

It's ok if you don't see now, it's ok if you don't see later. Because I have confidence in God that He will reach you in some way that you never could have planned or imagined. Christianity is not of laws, but of a love relationship, a fellowship with God. There is no condemnation for those who do not believe because God is Love.

But because of Love, that is why we Christians evangelise, to bring the light to those who have lost sight in darkness, led astray by the blind prophets themselves.

Because of Love, we want to share the good news. Love motivates us to move. Christianity cares not about numbers or whether the strength in membership. People of the world say that more people will have a louder voice to be heard. That is true. But God's love needs no strength in numbers. It quietly seeps into you, a love that is selfless, greater than self.

Well I believe that anyone can have their demons even if they have a close relationship with Christ....Especially when you have these times of need they can draw you closer to God. In my experience, I had anxiety attacks and whenever I was in trouble or got too scared I prayed and God delivered me. I am so thankful and greatful to him for helping me in those times....Everyone has pasts and problems, inner demons chew at us everday in the forms of temptation, friends, and bad influences....but I know in my heart that God is always there for me so I am not as scared about these things....:D I am so glad I have my personal relationship with God ^.^

Edit: this can apply to physical demons as well, God is always there to help...and if he doesnt right away it doesnt mean he isnt real, or doesnt love you, it happens for a reason Trust in Him and the reward is greater than you can imagine

Demons as in the demons in the Bible? Then no, cos the Spirit of God dwells in you. As to personal demons... like the painful past... is up to You.

Demons cannot harbor in a true Christian, just because you believe yourself to be a Christian does not make you so, the fruit you bear and the witnesses of you can only justify you as being a Christian. So with that a lot of people that goto church or that claim Christianity as a tradition, are not so unless they are saved by the grace of God. Now with that said, im not sure if it was pointed out, my eyes are tired and my head heavy, but the bible doesn't address the matter. It is widely believed that two entities cannot coincide in one another, evil and purity, and thats where the idea stems I believe. But if a man is truly righteous he is not harboring a demon. For how could he when the spirit of God is in its stead.

Actually I'll have to slightly disagree with you cryo...unfortunately I have a little bit of experience in this field and all I want to say is that demons can indeed dwell in a Christian as long as they are even a little farther from God then they should be. A lot of people that deal with witchcraft and such can easily send demons to torment Christians and if the Christian isn't strong in their faith and fed daily with the Word then they are suspectible to having a demon "living" in them. I'd rather not go into the subject because it still bothers me but all I have to say is that there are spiritual battles that are constantly being fought around us even though we may never notice it. But~ God will protect those who love him and live righteous lives...

And for all of you that don't believe in demons, go to anywhere in the world with a strong history of witchcraft Africa, India, even some place in America and you'll definately change your minds...Either way God has given us the victory and Jesus Christ has given EVERY Christian the authority to drive out demons in his holy name.

I have a little bit of experience in that area too. I believe once we are saved that the Holy Spirit lives within us and that demons cannot control our actions as if we were possessed. However, I believe that when we give into sin, and into darkness, demons can have control over our lives. I believe in demonic oppression. Oppression is not the same as possession, but it is similar. Demons do not dwell within your heart, but they are around it and influence it and your surroundings. They try and keep you from the Father by lying and making you feel hopeless, and they make things go wrong in your life to try and get you to believe that. It is depressing.

You're just the same as us here. Are we not evil? Are we not sinners? I'm corrupted but I believe in God too.

I embody evil is what I mean. I'm not just a normal sinner. Let's put it this way: I make Satan look like baby shit.

No you are not. I know you feel that way. Just as Faeleia said and I believe in too"Are we not evil? Are we not sinners? I'm corrupted but I believe in God too". Satan = Evil. Your not that and as a Chrishan I love you. NOT as the world knows it, just ask lumii or Cry or Faeleia.

It's a well guarded secret in occult circles that the act of cursing or sending demons after Christians is dangerous. Because they are taking a risk that the Christian would act 'worldly' and won't cry out to Jesus or knows his authority in Christ. Because if they use Jesus's name against them, the evil spirits actually leave having less than what they started off, and they return to torment the one who sent them.

There's a passage that says 'no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper, the enemies come before your face and are defeated. They come one way and flee seven ways.

That is, only if a Christian knows the fear of God. (Not an actual fear, but the mass mighty abilities and an all-able God. If you don't have that revelation of how great God is, look at Jesus. He is all-knowing, able in miracles and healing, and all sorts, but he keeps himself as a servant-like attitude to serve man. What kind of God does that in other religions? For there is none other than Him. Jesus told his disciples to be wise as serpents but gentle as doves. We have authority against the devil, but do not rejoice in this, rather be happy in the fact that we belong to heaven.

When we face an evil entity, know that you're not a Christian against them. The fight is not yours. Rather, know that Jesus IS your strength, Jesus IS your authority. Do not look to yourself to deal with the demon. Be a vessel, and point the devil back to Jesus. For if you have no revelation of the fear of God, even the demons tremble in fear in front of Him.

In the new covenant, don't think yourself as a sinner. In Song of Solomon1:5 , the bride goes : I am dark, but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, Like the tents of Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon.

The tents of Kedar are made of goat skin, they are plain, dark, and nothing looks good. The curtains of Solomon are rich in colors, with the four faces of Jesus: Lion, Eagle, Man, Ox. This signifies two sides of man. Inside, flesh is our body. We have our dark side. Yet, in Christ, we are also the righteousness of God. Please meditate on this. As God is righteous, we have his righteousness. It is as good as having a royal status.

Therefore do not defile the body, for the body is the temple of God. Jesus told the pharisees who were blinded with works, that criticised that they did not wash hands before eating, that things eaten do not defile a man, but the words that come out of the tongue can. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. The mouth is thus a fruit, in which one can discern if a tree is good or bad, through the words people say.

If you've studied about the tabernacle of Moses, the holy of holies, with the Ark and mennorah, the Ark is created with two angels (cherubims) facing each other, wings touching the other angel's. They represent God's eyes. Below the angels, is the mercy seat, sprinkled with the blood of the sacrifice, which is now Jesus's blood, eternally. He is our last high priest.

For if God sees the blood of the sacrifice, he is reminded of the work of Jesus, but if the seat is removed, underneath the mercy seat lies three items, which signifies the rebellion of man against God: The two tablets of stone (Law), the rod of Aaron (man's disbelief), and the golden pot of manna (which the people who were rescued out of egypt murmured against.) Once God's eyes see the three items, wrath will be kindled, therefore in the olden times, the sacrifice had to be done often. But today, Jesus's blood is eternal! :D

We were sinners when Jesus saved us, but he washed us clean once and for all, irrevocably, and irreversibly. We are saved forever when we accept Christ. There is no 'unpardonable sin' that can be commited by Christians. For that only sin is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. For because of Jesus' finished work on the calvary, that the Holy Spirit was sent in place of a physical person Jesus. He says that it is for our benefit that the spirit dwells in us. God and Jesus is often expounded upon, but few people have revelation about the Holy Spirit. This holy spirit dwells in us, witnesses only to truths of God, and is the voice that sometimes tells us things of God. To deny the Holy Spirit is to deny Jesus, his work, the grace and mercy of God, to reject the new covenant and rely on the law instead.

I agree Fae ^_^...I told her a true story once about my uncle and I guess I'll tell it to you guys too because it's so crazy awesome!

My Uncle is a pastor/evangelist in India and one day he was asked by some people to come to their house and drive out a demon that was possessing a man. When his wife heard that he was going into such a situation she prayed to God that he would send his holy angel Micheal to protect him and guide him throughout the journey. When my uncle stepped into the house the demon possessed man screamed out "So Michael himself has come to send me away!".

Isn't that awesome? We have nothing to fear! God is with us every step of the way! There are a TON of stories of demon possessed people in India especially because of witchcraft rituals that go alongside with hinduism but we were given the victory through Christ Jesus so we need to do something about it~

LUKE 10:19 NKJ
19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

ROMANS 16:20 NKJ
20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

MARK 16:17-18 NKJ
17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

EPHESIANS 6:11-13 NKJ
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

PSALMS 91:11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
