Economics Major here. Right now taking Econ 304, BUSA 365, FIN 341 and IB 351. I think that IB 351 is the best, have an instructor from Taiwan and she brings a lot of her and Japanese culture into class.

I am doing a Pre-Optometry major. Currently taking general chemistry, biology, calculus, and technical writing. I still need to take organic chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, statistics, physiology, etc. My goal is to become a pediatric optometrist. I'm also thinking about getting a minor in philosophy or art.
So far the classes and the proffessors have been great, but I am a little worried about organic chemistry.

By the way, Rusty:
How do you know college is a waste of time if (to me it seems) you have not been in college? Just asking

mauz: I can understand your fear of organic chem. I've been there twice. My recommendation make friends in that class. Having other people to talk to it about helps if you get confused by something. Plus, if you want good marks in the class do the examples or any assignments over a lot. However, you should find microbiology cool. I found it fascinating.

Thanks for the advice, I hope to find microbiology as fascinating as you did.

I'm starting my second year at Loyola Marymount University at a Communication Studies major. I'm starting to not like my Philosophy of the Human Nature class that I have to take for the univ. core classes that everyone has to take.

Everythings going fine, just some quirks...
I love all the 20th Century writers we are reading, but... the class is tedious. There's no room for discussion whatsoever... It kind of sucks...

I started my 2nd year at Cal State Northridge. I have the joy of taking Calculus A, English, Astronomy, and Geology. Should be an interesting semester.
