starting college this year and going to major in accounting, although I sometimes thing about going into law or the medical field (everything interests me really, just I am good with numbers so I figured why not accounting since its something that just clicks xD) I am kinda nervous about starting but hopefully it will be a journey filled with good experiences and good education....(just wish I didn't have to get a 10k loan to go -.- why does college have to be so expensive!)

Hi there you guys!
Well in a couple of weeks, I'll be going to an university as a freshman majoring in nursing. I'll be taking most of my classes in the afternoons (not a morning person) and plan to work around the weekends. I'm really excited but I'm concern as well because I don't know how to balance work and school (first time working as a CNA). So do you guys have any tips for my freshman year? Also does anybody know how MTH 123 is? Thanks!

I have an Associate's degree, but couldn't really get a job with it. Thankfully though, I was able to get my current job at my local Church as the secretary, but soon at the end of the month I'll have to quit it due to my acceptance into Nursing school. I plan on studying for two years, getting my RN licence and then taking upper level classes to get my Bachelor's degree while working. I don't know if I will get my Master's we'll have to see about that....

Wow, that really is something! I've always been interested in History, but never really got the chance to take any History classes (besides those in my secondary years which are mostly boring). I did take a subject with relation to Modern China as well (from 1968 onwards)!

I'm a Sociology major! Initially I was just alright with it, but now I love it more and more as I study it! I took an introductory class to Philosophy as well, and that class really stimulated me to think and wonder from a different perspective. Real interesting!

To be honest, I'm not really smart at all. I feel like I'm stupid.

wow, really? i figured Sociology would help me with Psychology...... and plus i'm fascinated by the human emotions and mind.
how people make bonds and how they deal those bonds.. or just everyday life.
how people become to be who they are.
..... most people tend to not like it much when i study them.
i don't see the big deal about it.
though it is odd that i haven't met too many people that like to pay attention to the people around them... never had someone study me closely like that. maybe i'm just a fish that can breathe on land, not just water. *sigh*
