personally don't care much for anime opening songs/ending songs being translated... since they serve no purpose story wise... I always skip ahead past them anyways.. but I guess this is good news for all the kids who like to sing along (which i really don't understand why someone would want to)...

I wasn't really concerned about lyrics being translated or romanized. If I so desperately needed it, I could've searched somewhere else. I can read the Kanji, but understanding wasn't a priority. I already understood the reason behind the copyrighting at least, I just hope some some of the beggars don't start asking for fancy fonts and bouncing words. It's a strain on the eyes and not worth it for CR to waste money getting rights for that.

About time...glad this is finally done I enjoy knowing the lyrics since they usually try to tie the opening song into the current events....always fun to see what events occur that had them decide to choose the specific song.

When you see shows that are sponsored by Avex, Dwango, Lantis etc that's usually because groups/singers that are signed up with them have provided the music and i guess they don't want there songs being incorrecting (possibly) translated into english.
Well this is in regards to karaoke, it's basically just posting lyrics to the song. I fail to see why someone would need a license for that O_o

Some people like music, are you saying you don't sing along to songs that you like? Or are you someone who just hates all music?
