I think it depends on the person.

I don't like the idea of having any addictions. If something else can control you it is bad in my book.

To clarify: Watching hentai in general isn't bad. (same with porn) It gets bad when it starts affecting other parts of your life and relationships.

I've never thought its the item's fault for addiction (admittedly I've never tried mind altering drugs so they may be an exception). In terms of hentai or anything you can watch it's really just down to personal willpower and personality. For example when I first got out of the house my school really suffered cause I played so many video games. Medication and stuff like that may have assisted or hindered my constant gaming but it was really just cause I had no will power and I just had to learn it. Now that I've matured I don't have that issue cause I worked on getting more willpower.... to power my green lantern ring!

....But yeah, with stuff like hentai it's just working on yourself and finding how to best control yourself.

Its an addiction if you already watch anime. You see the hentai as of you'd watch anime on your computer right? If so wouldn't you watch it, it is an addiction but it can be controlled. Just don't watch any anime or hentai:

As a hentai addict I can say this... If you don't like something don't watch it, but anime and hentai I see as an art form. Some art you like, others may not, but it doesn't make you a bad person. Everyone has an opinion, and none of them are wrong.

One thing I will say though about hentai. I hate rape scenes and tentacles, I prefer consensual relationships. Besides it is all fictitious anyway. Just because you kill someone in a video game, doesn't make you a murderer in real life. And as long as your habits don't hurt others then I say go for it. As to relationship matters with the original posters friend... that is between your friend and his/her significant other. We will always endeavor to find the faults in others, and make poor decisions based on those faults. Whose fault is that?

Well this is an interesting thread haha. I would say no. I dont even think porn is a bad hobby so hentai is just fine with me.
