For all of you Hayate the Combat Butler fans, we've got some great news today! We simulcasted season 2 a few seasons back but a lot of fans also asked for season 1, so we'll be launching the first 34 episodes of season 1 today to premium members while free users will have 4 episodes available to them every week. Episodes 35-40 will be launching in the next few weeks for premium members. Episodes 41-50 will be launched at a later day and we thank you all in advance for your patience.



For those of you who need a refresher or are new to the series, here's what it's about:

Hayate is a super-unlucky 16 year-old-boy who ends up shouldering his parents' financial havoc. By chance, he rescues Nagi, the well-dressed little heiress to a mega-rich family from hoodlums, then he gets hired as a live-in butler that guards her from all sorts of troubles. His career, however, requires more than just mental and physical strength: he needs to be entertaining too!

well the 2nd season doesnt follow the first .. the first is more off-manga.... the second is more closer to the manga and its starts off almost from the beginning.... wish theyd make a 3rd season ..the manga is getting interesting

I can watch season 2, but not season 1.

I have a question for michana, shouldn't you have said episodes 35 to 52? The First season of Hayate was 52 episodes long. Is there an issue with the last two episodes?
