why?!?! ... why just US and canada?!?!

America crosses aaaaaaaaaall the way to chile/brasil or, in any case, North America also covers Mexico and a bit down.

It's $hi77y enough that we don't get original DVD series in our local stores and such, and that our TV anime is very poor (we just have bakugan, naruto and pokemon ... there's animax, but its same series have been running since 2005).

There's no reason for me to get an Anime Membership, because cr's FAQ says that region restrictions will still be there.

I really want to watch reborn, eureka seven, hayate... on cr but it says "We are trying to obtain worldwide rights for this title, please be patient." what I take from this phrase is: "What's done is done. Stop complaining for more regions"

So please, for next time, at least add more than two regions to a new series instead of just "US and Canada" (because it's ALWAYS United States for new series ... come on, we're just down here!)

It's worth the look for those who only saw Season 2 as there was a different take on how the series was done in Season 1 with more parodies and spoofs and a bit more one off storylines, while Season 2 had a more distinct story and a bigger look on the characters development for the huge cast by that point-enjoy however you wish folks!

Strange, I must have mixed up some memories. I was positive that I watched season 1 here, and was disapointed by the lack of season 2. Was there maybe a season 3 that aired and didn't get here? Hmm, well either way it is clear that I watched all of season 1 and 2, I remember all character introductions quite well. An excellent show. I would love for it to have a ton more seasons.

And the episode where Nabeshin was involved was a big massive "WHAT?!?"

there is no season 3 as of yet which i am very surprised due to the fact that they have a lot of material they can cover now. another fact is in the 1st season a year passes before the series ends but when season 2 starts only a month has passed. I think it was due to the fact that most episodes in season 1 where filler but at least enjoyable to watch.

Nothing equals up to Gintama. Closer than the rest but Gintama still surpasses it.

Then let me edit my sentence.

The first 6 or so episodes of Excel Saga were hilarious but it gradually went downhill when they started having a progressing storyline. I never even watched the last episode since I could find no reason to continue.

In the first season, they weren't certain if they were getting second season, so they skipped past some events. When they got the second season, they went back and covered several skipped events. This is most evident in that Hina and Ayumu knew each other at the end of Season 1 (without any particular reason), and Season 2 starts with them not knowing each other and later getting to know one another.

I seem to miss this series greatly, a season 3 is indeed needed. There really is a lot they can still do, and it seems like it would be successful.

it has to do with fan reactions to season 1 for some reason, but none the less i like them both and i love nagi, maria and so forth, and i think they might be doing one this winter but i have no sources to confirm. well they knew one another in season one some what but hmm this is also what happens when you switch animation studios for different seasons.

LOL. I thought everyone in Crunchyroll knew this already.

DAMMMNNN!!!!!!

I see that you're from the Philippines. It is being aired on QTV 11 if you don't know. And since they obtained the rights from Bandai USA, I can see why it is only available in US and Canada only.

I just had to quote this:

Crunchyroll work their asses off to get your guys anime it takes time for it to be available in other countries.

It RARELY happens:
(1) Omamori Himari became available in UK shortly after the title was announced.
(2) Strike Witches became available in UK shortly after the title was announced.
(3) 11eyes and Shin Koihime Musou -> don't know what the heck happened, but after December it is not already available in my region.

My brother has the DVD boxset of Excel Saga so I watched all of it except for the last 1 or 2 episodes but yea, I would really only suggest that people get the first 2 DVDs.
