At my school almost there r popular people who r very nice and there r some who r not but my school is a very small school so everyone knows everyone and that means its more clicky u know? also since the junior high is upstairs the new freshman no older people so there really is no bullying freshies cuz u can have friends 9-12 i have friends from freshman year to seniors so yeah my school isnt like the movies just for the clicky part. Oh! and also rumor can go around in like a day or 2 whick that is fast, so make sure whatever u do is not mess up

Sure my high school was like the movies...if the movies' high school was in another country with a lil over 200 kids on a very small and cramped campus with nothing to do and the closest thing to fun was in another town that you didn't know how to get to because you couldn't read the signs. Let's also not forget the graduating class with only twelve members and 11 of them were guys. Oh yeaaaah movies rock...(by the way, I'm not being funny, my high school was like that)

It didn't seem like there was much bullying, or hate in general, at my HS. I got bullied a lot in elementary school, but by the time I got to high school I was actually cool with the kids who had bullied the shit out of me. The different social circles didn't clash like they do in the movies. At the most they just stayed away from each other.

There was one kid though that hung out with us drug addicts that took our abuse non-stop. I don't even know why he hung out with us. The kid he was closest to was the one to beat his ass the most too. For instance one time this kid was about to swing over the creek on a rope swing during the winter while the creek was full, and his buddy kicked him in the chest with a steel toed boot right as he swung. He actually managed to keep holding on to the rope though.

.......All too true.
I guess it's my fault though, seeing as I really didn't take advantage of all the opportunities in high school.
Even so though, most of the people there were in cliques so no one really ventured out to everyone else unless they had sports or clubs.

Hmmmmm. That's a toughy.

I'd have to say that my high school life kind of was, and kind of wasn't, like the movies.

For one thing, you weren't really a dork for being a band, and you weren't better than anyone else if you were a cheerleader or a jock. Social importance in my high school depended on your social circle; stereotypes.

As far as I can say though, I would never take back my high school years. It wasn't easy, it wasn't always fun, and it wasn't always perfect, but over all I enjoyed it, I learned a lot about myself, I made some amazing friends, met some amazing teachers and some important decisions. I will admit that I was I had been more involved with school, especially in my senior year, but hey, it is what it is.
