Not in a way that you immediately see the result from your own action, example: saving someone from drowning, but possibly in an indirect way, such as talking to someone for a bit before they were about to go to the store, wasting their time on pointless conversation, ending up making them leave ten minutes later than planned, when just a moment before their delayed departure there was a wreck on the route they would have taken, which they may have been part of had they gone when they planned to. I might have saved some lives, but I may never know.

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 12/18/11 I guess in a way many times, in the summer and fall im a lifeguard at INSC so i save little kids from drowning alot and there was this on time earlier this year that i was at the park with my little sister and this lady got hit in the head by a rock that few out of an industrial lawnmower and i just calmed down \ her grandchildren called her husband and called 911. She gave me a ring and said thank you for saving her life.

I will tell you what, his car was about to get flipped over because there was a duck in front of him. Thankfully, my car's mass crushed his. He was injured but was saved, including the duck.

I thought that I could save her if I thought back on my CPR classes, so thankfully I was able to and I saved her ^-^ I didn't want anything in return but the family of the woman gave me a thousand bucks ...
