LOL...but we can never have true knowledge of anything that is in a constant state of change. We can only have opinions about things that belong to the world of th senses, tangible things. We can only have true knowledge of things that we can be understood with our reason....:D

just giving your opinions and trying to think about it also helps to figure out something... yes we may have limited knowledge of anything.. and yes change is constant... but lets look at the history... everything started from scratch... early scientist and thinker just started from just ideas.. expressing it...
maybe when we just express what we think.. maybe we can contribute even a small thing to resolve these mysteries... I know it will really take time.. ahahah... what am I saying... so pathetic.. ahahaha....

somebody major in philosophy here huh....
If you're looking for a "Divine Mystery" i'd say the Human Brain is one....or even our mere existence....

If you were to see the word "mystery" as "revealed religious truth" or "any truth that is unknowable except by divine revelation", then adding the word "divine" it would be a hyperbole, right....?

Yep. Whatever he said

yep it would be a hyperbole....the human brain huh....
but if the human brain is simple enough for us to understand, we would still be so stupid that we couldn't understand it...

i think mystery exists to stir curiosity in human..
it's better for the truth to be unfound.. if not the world wont be as interesting..
as one mystery lead to several possible stories and more mysteries..
coz we just love suspense.. don't we..

I believe we think of it as mystery is not because it really is mysterious but because we do not fully understand that thing~

Here is a mystery, what makes a human being kill another, for the reason of just being different.

i don't get your statement there....
referring to the status quo, i meant the human brain as an example due to the fact that for the entire period of the existence of humanity, we are still unable to optimize or even tap into it's supposed potential capability....

is the hyberbole intended or was it mere tautology...?

ah dont mind the statement its kinda getting deep with philo...:D
i think its more like rhetoric:D

I believe there is something of the divine mystery in everything that exist. We can see it sparkle in a sunflower of a poppy. We can sense more of the unfathomable mystery in a butterfly that flutters from a twig-or in a goldfish swimming in a bowl. But we are closest to God in our own soul. Only there can we become one with the greatest mystery of life. In truth, at very rare moments we can experience that we ourselves are that divine mystery...:D

that aint no mystery...
'he who knows what good is will do good' socrates said...
by this he meant that the right insight leads to the right action. And only he who does right can be a 'virtuous man'. When we do wrong it is because we dont know any better. That is why it is so important to go on learning.

Socrates just making excuses for people who are doing wrong >.>. He must've killed some people too.

New mystery who did Socrates kill.
