For those saying you can watch Crunchy on an Android now, this is true... but if you have used the iPhone app at all you will realize how much more user friendly and app is compared to a web browser... even if it is a mobile designed website.
+1 for an Android app |

If an app comes out, I'll actually buy a membership. |

shinji wrote: The problem was related to upgrading our video system to support iPhone streaming over 3G. As you might know, we have an app for your iPhone / iPod Touch or iPad. Videos all work over wi-fi, but didn't work over 3G. Over the past 2-3 months, we've been busy trying to do 3G support. We now have iOS 3G streaming for all new videos from the last week or so, and will backfill older videos in the coming weeks. Note that 3G streaming is available for Premium Members only. When does Crunchyroll come to AppleTV? Now that AppleTV have YouTube and Netflix, its got a lot of simulcast and back catalog anime titles, but no Crunchyroll leaves a big hole in its anime lineup. Reports of Crunchyroll on AppleTV via Boxee seems to be unstable modifications rather than out-of-the-box support. |

To watch Crunchyroll on AppleTV is like impossible their are only like 8 services on AppleTV and to be able to put you service on appleTV is nearly impossible
1. You have to be partnered with apple 2. their are only 8 services on AppleTV It will be slim to none crunchyroll will ever get on their. |

Ryukjr wrote: Just use the mobile site you greedy bastards just because its not as user friendly and stuff who gives a flying fuck, so you are saying shinji made the site for no fucking reason if you to go to the mobile site you can watch 720p videos. I like the m.crunchyroll better then the app. SO STOP BEING SO FUCKING GREEDY AT LEAST YOU COULD WATCH HD VIDEOS ON YOU PHONE Also All Androids devices including MyTouch 3G Slide is getting android 2.2 which includes flash all phones should get them in a months tops. Hey idiot, -The mobile site does not have 720p videos. -Not all Android devices will get Android 2.2. -Even if a phone does get 2.2 and Adobe Flash, older phones with slow processors and/or lack support for H.264 video acceleration won't be able to play the low resolution Flash videos at m.crunchyroll.com smoothly. -Adobe's current mobile Flash implementation may be more optimized for mobile devices but it's still very resource intensive. The streaming video protocol the app uses doesn't use Flash and requires less resources. -If Crunchyroll does provide an Android app, they would benefit by getting more users and possibly paid ones too. -You shouldn't put down legitimate requests. |

whats the hold up. ANDROID APP. We pay money for this site, and deserve to be HEARD. You guys could dignify our inquiries with a response, at BARE MINIMUM. Iphones are now losing market share and android has already overtaken iphone sales in the US.
So i ask again. WHAT IS THE HOLD UP?? |
