Ok So have been wondering what others opion is on this game
Me personally, I love it!! <3
Then there r time when I pay it like how messed up it can be with the whole gun thing to your head and a spirit comes out... Kinda of a little messed up 
It Changed in the 4th one but still How much time does it take to come up with an idea like that and a story....
That is why I like it cause it is different then other games that I have played and keeps u on your toes |

I like it because takes long to finish.

I just started persona 3 portable, and I must say I am loving the style of the game. Is Persona 4 completely different from P3 or does it build upon its greatness?

If you mean does it use the social link type system that you need to level up then yes it does. I find it slightly more interesting myself due to its rural setting which is a great place to put such a dark storyline in my opinion. I've had the chance to play more or less every game in the Persona series and I can say they are all interesting. Persona 1 was a bit more difficult to figure out when I first got my hands on it since I had really never seen a game like it and didn't have the manual with it.

I love these series. Really, no lies. Nice graphics, artworks, BGM, OST, and etc. Not to mention storylines too.

Ok listen to this. And Ill put it in Spoilers since Im talking about Persona 3 PSP Final Boss
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide So Im fighting Nyx, I get to her last form, and I swear to god, I get her to literally .5% percent health, and it was my Main Characters turn to attack, however he was also that last person to attack in my round, so if I attacked her and didnt kill her, it would be her turn, and all my allies had like 30% health......so Im telling myself 2 things.
1. Should I go for the kill? I mean I swear to god I cant even see her health bar practically anymore, so I was fairly certain it would be the kill.
2. OR should I use SOMA to restore my partys health and SP just to be safe?
I pondered and pondered, and I decided I should just take the safe route, so I used the SOMA. HOWEVER my allies had 2 DISTRESSED status effects and 1 PANICKED status effect.....which I told myself at the time I didnt really need to worry about it....since I was only worried about if they were paralyzed....since they could get criticaled or something.....but guess what? Nyx uses Almighty Swing.....which I was anticipating.....BUT IT CRITICALS ALL 3 OF MY TEAMMATES!!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!!! So that makes she gets another attack to her already 2 attacks.....so she uses the move again....which then KILLS my teammates.....and my MC is the only one standing......and she still has 1 FINAL ATTACK and she uses it to kill my MC..........I was heartbroken.......I had the chance to kill her.....and I freaking blew it......I was just too sad......over an hour worth of combat on that boss.
And now get this....I tried her again today.....I got her to 20 percent health.....so she went into her third phase....but guess what? When she used that Night Queen attack, it did its aoe (Which I didnt mind), AND THEN IT GAVE MY MAIN CHARACTER THE ENRAGE DEBUFF, which makes the damage my MC receives double.....so she uses Almighty Swing and kills my MC......Im like SERIOUSLY!? Im so freaking sad right now.
I have a save like 3 days before actually going into Tartartus for the final battle....and Im wondering if I should just stock up on some more supplies....train some more....stuff like that........its just too sad for me.....
I never played a Persona game before, and as soon as I got this game I decided to play it on the hardest difficulty Maniac.....so I think I have done a hell of a good job, but now I cant just put the cherry on the cake |

^ dude i've been there , just farm abaddon's heart item and equip it to all party members it protects from all status ailment except poison

they're both great games although i like the p4 cast of characters . but if we consider all the persona games then P2 IS is the better game in terms of story , characters and gameplay .

I brought both when they came out. I'm still not done with them,. that's how long they are....jk...after playing them nonstop for like weeks and maybe only get to half way i stop playing them because they take too long.
I like games RPG's to be long, but not that DAMN LONG. Plus I got Person 3 FES. I started the original version because it was a rental, and then brought the FES version so i had to start over. I'm still not done with the original portion so i can then go into the FES storyline. I also got Person 4. Not even half way through. Heck I think I just finished the first building. LMAO.

Lol , I luv the persona series especially 3 and 4. Am currenty playing the portable version on my psp. I can't wait for Persona 5 to come out, what do you think guys?
