Your question is kinda contradictory...

Asking for a decision of peace or justice implies that wrongdoing was already done and you're simply asking me whether to leave that person/group who has done the wrongdoing alone or to punish him/them. Therefore, your question asks for either incompetence or justice since peace doesn't exist in your theoretical situation.

My answer: Justice

Justice.
Not willing to go bitch over an idea that's supposed to be in the interest of self preservation in the first place.

That's not justice, but rather it's yourself being selfish and immature.

Well, I feel that the only reason people want peace, is because they wouldn't want any violence inflicted on themselves.

Should I really take a hit, and keep the peace while everyone else doesn't?

WW2 was that peace or justice. Using the atomic bomb saved millions of lives so i see that as good thing in many ways but now the horror that it exist. From the first X-ray we went down this path of the atomic age, it was just a matter of time before it was invented. how many times do you turn the other cheek until you get feed up with it?

That can't explain how there are those who want revenge only for themselves, because they were treated unjustly in the first place. Thereby your own moral is in conflict with your own belief, and that's simply illogical.

What's so good about spreading unnecessary horror and death? Your own reasoning failed because no single nation had yet to unleash another tactical nuclear strike after that. So do you still think it was a good thing that people should allow it to happen now? Or that it was wrong to make an example on those who can't defend themselves in a war just because you can, while there was no regulation about using atomic weapon in a war in the first place.

Grow up and look at the numbers if we invade japan, how many millions would have died. The Russian army was getting ready to invade as well. The japanese Death before dishonor would not have gone well with any military and shoot first would have been the norm. To be blunt japan as a nation would only happen after the cold war ended. You really should get to understand the time period and how the fighting was done. Ten of millions of japanese civilians would have died.

Yeah, yeah, the shameful "burn the village in order to save it" mentality, right? What you don't understand is still your own contradiction, and the embarrassment of how the Cold War ended without resorting to violence. The US and subsequently its "war effort" was proven to be counterproductive, just like how the Pentagon couldn't deliver an exit strategy for the Afghan war.

So don't you dare pretending to act tough or wise around me, when the reality is that you never had what it takes to finish up the job.

What if a third party instigated a conflict with them.
And they mistake me as one of the third party?

Then just be honest with your true intent, and make sure you uphold your own end of the promise. It's up to them whether they should believe that you are an honest person or not, but you had got to be willing to provide proofs of justification when they doubt you.

What if they shoot me before asking me for my perspective?

Still not your fault. But who cares? You're dead anyway, it's not like you just gave up explaining yourself. But then again I digress.
