Yes, because I was bored, but I stopped because I got annoyed...and the first page was the only good drawing that I did, so I kind of regret not continuing it...but my friend is making a manga~

I've been writing the plot for one for about 5 years. The middle of the story is a bit fuzzy, but I got the intro and ending down. ~ hahaha. I've drawn and designed my characters also. so, hopefully with more practice, I can start drawing the whole series out. And with luck, I'll publish it. ^^

Oh? That's pretty exciting! What's it about? I think it would be cool to see your work on the bookstore shelf in the near future...
Ha! This thread kind of has me motivated to make something... But I don't have a story to tell, so there wouldn't be a purpose. I guess I could come up with something...

I guess one word to describe the whole manga is "crazy." Anything and everything possible can happen. Haha~ I thought it would be fun to just include all the possible extremes in life in one series. I think I'm leaning towards an underlying theme of "no matter what happens, treasure those close to you. No matter how ugly life is, love your friends and family." So, the overall genre is action/comedy/drama.
Yea, I would highly recommend diving into it. It's rather fun. =) Even if you don't continue it, you have a little piece of memory and such. You never know when your creative juices will burst. =)

Imu...I've tried to do my own manga...Mostly, I'd only end up with characters and no plot line at all...Drawing them in random places. I must say, I was never really organized. In the end, I would end up with portraits of my characters, having them do different poses and such, and forgetting what I was doing in the first place. So. I just decided that, maybe the manga thing isn't what was meant to be. I still hope though, that maybe one day, I'll change my mind. <3!

yes got bored and ended up creating a whole story line with characters monsters twists and 3 arcs but cant draw so pretty much just fantasy i think i should just make a light novel

I have billions of story ideas, I even write, actually. BUT I will never attempt to make a manga...only if people will read a manga with drawings worse than stick figures . Seriously, I've tried drawing manga and everything looked stupid and droopy. D8 Not cool, bro. I'll never try again... |
