JigokuKensai 11 cr points Send Message: 21 Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 6/22/11 A little update from before real life likes to get in the way so we've only been able to work on weekends, although we stay up as late as we can (sometimes up to 4 in the morning!) I took a break from writing the chapters, finished up to Ch 5, and just brushing up on my inking skills, which at this point is me trying to keep a steady hand and deciding which pen to use for different lines (I'm terrible at using the brush pen). We've decided to use micron pens for inking, although we thought about using traditional nib pens, but then decided it was too much of a hassle Still no experience with graytones First roughdraft of ch 1 is up to 10 pages, it's been slow but the art is really good, a little too good for a roughtdraft, but I decided not to hassle him about it figuring that we're in no hurry right now

I do have the artistic skills, but the thing I lack is the writing skills. My drawing skill isn't bad, but it's not good either. I tried to do a manga but when I think about how much work there is, I gave up. If you are interested in reading what my idea is about, message me and I'll write it and then I'll give you a quick summary. The genre I was going with the idea is : Action, Romance, Demon, Super Power, Magic Academy, Fictional, Tragic. That's all I can think off. But It's mostly a manga that people who like action would love. And don't worry it is nothing like School Days.
