I'd much rather have someone be to quiet/low to the point where I dont have to listen to them talk vs the loud friggen ppl who are screaming in my ear and think its rude that I give them dirty looks. Your excited I get that but do you really need to scream so that all 99ppl hear your end of the convo.

Thank you. XD Finally someone who understands that. :] I'm a quiet one and I hate it when people go, "DUDE, TALK LOUDER!!" Right in the middle of class. XD Hahaha... Thank you. :] You make me feel better when I'm in this forum, because I'm a softy who takes everything too seriously.

You are more than welcome, glad I could "speak up" for you

i speak in a normal tone. except when its about a topic im excited about or have a "dumb blonde" moment about. then i scream. and scare everyone out with my unusual loudness. i speak clearly, and normally..........

but over the years, i learned to tune those low voices out. i remember, back in school, when people are asked to read out loud. you can't hear what they're saying. they mumble! and they're expressionless. i, at least read it with a little emotion. it may sound like im reading at a funeral, but..........IT'S BETTER THAN NOT HEARING ANYTHING AT ALL AND MONOTONE!

but, there are times when im accidentally too loud. but thats when people complain i talk too softly when im already speaking normally. but i hate it when there are those people who freakin scream in your ears! i know most people like loudness, but when you're in the middle of class, lecture, or meeting, it's not polite to scream.

and when they complain i speak too loudly, it's always the same person complaining. i mean, you gotta be used to it by now. and it's always the same person who speaks softly.

It's funny that there are people who are annoyed with people speaking low lol... because I can get annoyed when people keep asking me 'what?' over and over. It's like well, you're not trying hard enough to listen! And it makes me feel stupid too if I have to keep repeating myself.. Soo I end up say Nevermind or Nothing. If it was really important then I'd speak up to get it across though...

You shouldn't feel stupid for not being able to hear them though, most likely the one talking soft and having to repeat over and over what was said is more likely the one to feel stupid... they aren't doing it on purpose you know, some people are just soft-spoken. So try harder to listen or just nod and move on. If what they said was really important, they will eventually get it across again anyways, somehow lol.
