It's been a while since Genndy created a show for Cartoon Network (5 years to be exact since he was involved in the Star Wars: Clone Wars mini-series), but I'm glad that he is coming back with his latest project, Sym-Bionic Titan.

The show revolves around Ilana, Lance and Octus, three alien teenagers that have escape from their war-torn planet, with an oppressive dictator on their trail, who seeks to have them eliminate. When the trio faces the greatest challenge, they form together to become the Sym-Bionic Titan.

Both the sneak peek and the first promo can be seen from here:

The second promo for the show can be seen here as well:

BTW, the series will premiere this month on the 17th (Friday), starting at 8 P.M. (5 in the east).

I can't wait to see this when it premieres.

Sounds like a spin between Transformers and Voltron, except with teenagers...alien teenagers.

Just saw the series premiere, and it was incredible!

The first episode was just right, from the pace of the story, the setting and the actions. The character design seems like a mix between Dexter's and Samurai Jack, which is quite good and the voice acting was really great (I was especially surprise with Brian Posehn's).

After just watching this show, it's clear that Genndy hasn't lost his touch and can tell a good story, as oppose to the usual gag comedy.

Looking forward to see more episodes in the near future.

The show is pretty awesome so far, Lance is basically Hayato Jin from Getter Robo and we get to see his back story in next week's episode
