Please fix the simple problem with the audio/video quality of the videos. I only use my iPod with wifi,and I have perfect connection yet the video becomes Low quality randomly. I also read up on others having crashing/membership problems with the app. Can I at least get a conformation that something is being done about this, such as an update?

Ok im having a problem with the app. Everything was fine a few weeks ago i could watch bleach and gintama perfectly without no hassle. But then two days ago i was watching an episode of Gintama when the quality went down to crap and it became hard to read the subtitles. Then episode 141 and 142 of Gintama have no subtitles on the iPhone app but they do on the website???? I don't like to complain especially when you guys are offering this for free but its a pain since i want to watch my favorite series and understand what they are saying :(.

My suggestion is to go back to how you had the option to turn on the subtitles so that elimates the no subtitle thing and please fix the quality it gets hard to read white colored subtitiles when their on a white color lol.

any chance or retina display support soon? crunchyroll is one of the few blurry icons left on my homescreen. also some way to access my watch list so i will be able to quickly find the shows i watch.

The app isn't loading any videos for me. Every video I try to watch cuts to the media player and stays at "Loading Movie..." I'm on 3g, and have tried several videos, resetting the phone, and I can still connect to the internet via other apps and safari so internet connectiviy isn't the problem. It's been sitting on "Loading Movie..." for about 25 minutes since I tried last.

I just got a update for the CR app. I suggest everyone check this update as it has bug fixes as well now supports ipad as well now! Also has TV out but that experimental. Also it looks very pretty now as it supports the new retina display now

From my testing it seems to load a lot faster now and much smoother as well. Also the Video seems to start much quicker now as well. This may just be me and I cant confirm this but the frame rate seems to be better as well. Not sure if this is true or not but it seem to me that it is.

I just updated the cr app for ipad to find that it is unusable in it's current form. It crashes a lot and it won't let me select any videos. Any solutions?

I tried restarting and my device has never been jail broken.

It may help if you used the ipad app thread as this is for the iphone/ipod. They are right next to each other so you cant miss it. You probably will get better help there.

The new app upgrade is instantly crashing for me -- just an opening screen and that's all.

Everything had been perfect w/Crunchyroll until the upgade, so I'm hoping that this is fixed soon

Try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
I have upgraded the app on a iphone3G and ipod touch2G and they both work flawlessly now.

I kinda have some problems with my app to. including watching good quality to bad quatlity. also afte i press play and the commercial plays, the screen goes black and i get sent back to my home page, anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've done this about 5 times now with the same result.

I see on the App comments and Facebook comments that this seems to be a widespread problem. Hopefully we'll see a fix soon

I'm also having the insta-crash issue.

Specifics/particulars, if that helps: 3.1.3, Spirit Jailbroken, 32GB. Only real issues I had before the update was a few vids not playing at all, though that was fixed after a reinstall.

Insta-crash seems to happen on iPhones with iOS 3.2 installed. So it's a problem we'll need to fix.
