And I thought girls were supposed to mature faster than boys. So much for that theory. . .

So your best friend has a boyfriend and you're single.

Tell me,

how freaking awkward is it to hang around with them? They are constantly cuddling and making out and you're just sitting there like always feeling like you're just in the way.

I can't take it anymore >_<, its not jealousy its just I feel like an idiot when I just sit there and they are pretending to listen to me but what they really want to go home and screw eachother's brains out.

When I'm with someone, I don't make out infront of my friends especially when they are talking, thats plain rude! I'll hold hands and stuff but I won't do anything that might make them feel awkward and uncomfortable.

Now if my friend asks me to go to town I say "Is Richard (the bf) going?" lol if so "Er sorry I'm busy..."

Oh yes, i understand that feeling very well.

I mean it's really awkward especially when you dont know the other partner really well, and then you're like there and yet kind of 'invisible' or trying to be 'invisible' that's what i do. But it's really weird. Like, really really weird. I mean on one hand, you dont want to disturb them but on the other hand, i'lll be like... "hello..? i'm like..uh..here?" so dont do those stuff in front of me.
Not that i'm jealous, just that i feel like some stupid idiot watching by the sidelines with nobody to talk to.
And btw, i notice that when my friends are in front of their bf, they suddenly got extremely...girlish, no actually, flirty. I mean, she'll be like whining (it sounds like she is whining to me) everything little thing to her bf like, "ohh it's so heavy (her bag)... my shoulder's hurting" when she was carrying that freaking bag fine the whole time before we met her bf!!!!
Seriously, some consideration?! You were the one who invited me, insists that i come, and now you give me this...this...crap?!

It sounds like i'm ranting here... I apologise. Cos i wasnt able to express my feelings to my friends! I tried but i cant totally tell her how to act in front of her bf right? I mean, who am i to say that? Pfft.

In our class we had this newly formed couple who stuck to each other like glue at first.
In between classes it was fine cuz we could all just avoid their very loud and noisy making-out-time but then they brought their SH*T to class so they would sit in the back row and suck each others faces to an unrecognisable state and everyone in class was like fighting for the places up front for the sake of avoiding nausea.
Thank god they calmed down after a few months but I will never forget that period of time, it was pure torture...

Best Solution: RUN AWAY

Which reminds me, there is also another time i somehow ended up sitting with a couple!! There's like 3 seats in a row and i was like at the right and the girl in the middle and the guy at the left. Oh god during lessons, his hands were like...everywhere. Seriously, her ass, her legs, her thighs! Not much of the upper body bcos i think he doesnt want the teacher to take notice of him. And they'll be like in a 'hugging' position like whenever the teacher is not looking at them. Did i mention we sat at the last row? So yeah, the perfect spot. And i think they totally forgot my existence there. Seriously.

I hate being the third person. There's a saying, "Three's a crowd" right? I know that my friends do not want to 'abandon' me after they are attached and stuff, but this is not the way to do it..

I've always hated PDA I never understood why ppl would sit in a public place and just make out! the hell is the point in it. Holding hands is fine and dandy but seriously can you not hold your own desires/temptation for when you get home...Even in front of company I've never understood it. If a friend comes over and they start getting there mac on then they can take that shit back to the car and come back when its finished. I absolutely hate the sound of ppl making out. Its like a person standing right next to your ear chewing insanely loud into it

ok my friend wasnt actually making out & stuff with her bf, but i completely get where you're coming from!!!

It's SO awkward!!!

I started just acting like I was busy or just staying away when they were together... Well at least my friend decided not to date anyone for now, we'll be able to hang out more often and stuff

Haha you just feel like a light bulb or third wheel.
I'm okay going out with my sister and her boyfriend. They always cuddle and kiss infront of me. lol
Weird, but i got use to it.
If its my bestfriend, then i'll prob feel weird too.
When i go out with my friend and my ex (When we're dating) He would like cuddle me and try to kiss me infront of him.
I would just push him lol like not lovey dovey incase my friends feel weird.
