You Know You're a JE Fan When...

I'm sure people have seen this kind of topic around on other fandom forums...

just list some habits/things that you began to notice about yourself that you KNOW began with your fandom in JE.

it can be a GENERAL thing about JE

example: you start to name your stuffed animals after your favorite JE ppl

OR

it can relate to a SPECIFIC group/drama

example: you perk up when someone says the word "news" even though they were referring to the TV news

BUT if it's from a specific group or drama that a JE boy was in, make sure to put the group/drama in parentheses, so the rest of us (who might not know that group/drama that well) know what you're talking about.

Also, if you see one you like, comment on it. many of these will apply to others, and we'll see how unique one can get in this fandom. =]

here's a couple to start off...

YOU KNOW YOU'RE A JE FAN WHEN........

-you buy JE merchandise even though you know you're tight on money
-you're willing to watch a boring drama, just to see your favorite JE guy
-you force your friends to put up w/ your spazzing
-your playlist consists of mostly JE music, whether you understand it or not
-you read their jwebs at least once every week
-you DREAM about them (obvious, much? XD)

-you cried during the 06-07 countdown (NEWS)
-when people are having a hard time, you say "kitto daijoubu" (Arashi)
-you have an obsession with turtles (kame from KAT-TUN)

* similar to yours, after knowing Kame (KAT-TUN), I started calling turtles 'kames' ... loudly and publicly x_x... i even influenced my sister to do so...
* i am very sensitive to the word news now, and I see 'news' everywhere... (NEWS)
* last weekend in my aunt's room i saw a little bottle, on its cap, 'hand' in mandarin/japanese is written... and i immediately thought of Tegoshi (NEWS), and joked about it being Tegoshi's property.. 'cause tesshi does that (proof: Pacific CD Jacket) XP
* i replay/rewatch scenes in dramas multiple times with nice/funny JE actor moments

* makes me want to learn Japanese.. and i am actually picking up quite a few words, phrases from songs and dramas
* have a special feeling whenever I see a JAL airplane because of ryo in Attention Please (NEWS).. i took a picture of it.
* bought a box of hyokos when i was at Narita Airport for flight connections, just because Koyama and Shige went to the factory and I loved what I saw in that episode (NEWS)
* in fact, i asked for a flight connection via Japan...
* I was about to leave a store, but stayed when I heard weeeek on the radio, which the store was playing and silently sang along (NEWS)
* a little tale: one day, i wanted to travel to places i haven't been to in the city.. and i took the metro and buses to get to this one place i decided to visit.. then on my way back.. i accidentally took the wrong bus... and it took me far far away from home.. when i finally found a route back (still being far away).. the song, "Nantoka naru sa" occurred to me... and I started to sing it for myself.. then i felt better (NEWS)

wahaha...this will be a good thread!! here's some of mine...

* i was the only one laughing when i told my cousins i love watching the news (NewS) and cartoon (KAT-TUN)

* i always pretend to be drunk when i drink soyabean...and eventually, i'll start talking in Akira-mode (Pi, who acted in Nobuta, plays the character of Akira who can get drunk by drinking soyabean...haha!!)

* i bought a box of DARS chocolate in my school cafe simply b'coz KinKi Kids is the ones promoting it in the CM

* i look for Rohto lipgloss (yet to find) simply be'coz KAT-TUN are promoting it

* i went on a squid craze be'coz Kame ate squid sashimi in an episode of Oshaerism (no idea how to spell it)

* i bought 3 cartons of vegetable juice and 2 bottles of green tea coz these are among the stuffs that will always be in the refrigerators of the homes of the NewS (or was it K8?) guys...

* My playlists has only BSB and MAROON 5 as the only english artists...everything else is JE...and a few other Jrock tunes...

* Jin made me go into every shop that had any signs of striped sweaters for at least a whole week, until i re-watched the PV of KTF again and realised i'll never be able to find black and white striped sweater with FURRY white stripes...

* i think my younger brother looks like chibi Nakamaru

* i think this guy in my lecture hall looks like Ryo...and the only similarity he had with Ryo was that he was super tanned...that's all...so in other words, anyone that had the slightest similarity to the JE guys catches my attention...that said, i've noticed a Shige-lookalike and an Ohkura-lookalike and a MatsuJun-lookalike...

* i get my energy every morning by listening to other K8 or NewS, if not, my mood will be foul the whole day long...

* i start irritating my friends by goin "Oicchi!" randomly (Pi was saying "Oicchi!" in this super cute voice in the NewS con backstage DVD extra)

*i booked the tickets to watch KimuTaku's 'Hero' movie 5 days before the first show...usually i don't book movie tickets...

*i stood in front of the rows of JE CDs at HMV even though I was running late for the Hero movie, trying to decide between the 2 versions of the Pacific (NewS) CDs and calculating if i'll have enough to grab the KTF single as well...

*i can't think of any other hairstyle to cut my hair later this week other then Takki's...or maybe i should go for Kame's...or Sho's...or Jun's...or Tacchon's...or Kei's....i'm a girl, am i not?

* i can't stand english words like 'week', or 'pinky', or 'stereo', or 'cocoa'....they just make me burst into silent singing mode...which is irritating, when u are trying to study...

thats it for now...i think i have more JE quirks...its been one year...there is definitely more....

I'm A JE FAN because........

-I buy JE merchandise even though i have less penny.
-I'm willing to watch a boring drama, just to see my favorite JE guy
-I promote JE to all my friends.
-I dont doubt to buy or download JE songs.
-I keep udated with their new info and ofcourse visit their jwebs(although it was not V6)
- I've DREAM about them (unfortunately, i only dream they are waiting for bus to go home after school with me ~houkage blues)
- I'm willing to learn acrobatic - strech my leg...aiming for 180 degree angle between two legs. and also overcome my fear to do backflips.
- confidently talk like JE's when i'm on stage.
- I learn play basketball
- learn to like baseball & F1
- everyword is being related to JE.

You know you're a JE fan when..

1) You say "bye bicycle" instead of "bye bye" to people

2) The first pose you think of when people ask you to pose is "kon kon" and you start pestering other people to join in doing that pose.

3) You can't type NEWS uncaptilized even in school presentations and you can't type weeeek without going back to edit what you've typed *i din edit it this time lol!*

4) You pronounce soup as "soupuu" (tegomass)

5) You scour for every bit of JE around you (newspapers, magazines, JE shops, Kinokuniya oh yeah and i recently found yamapi's MOW ice cream as well as weider jelly xD)

6) You use asience because quite a number of the JE guys used it.

7) Your social circle online is as big as your social circle in real life thanks to JE xD

8) You hate Johnny for burning a big hole in your pocket but that doesn't stop you from throwing money into his pocket.

~I have a special file for Yamada Ryosuke on my desktop, even though I don't want my little brother to see it. (Yamada, Hey!Say!JUMP)
~I specifically search for any drama that has Kame-san (KAT-TUN) in it... or Matsumoto Jun... (Arashi) or... (goes on and on)
~I periodically search ebay and amazon to see if any new merchandise has popped up -- even if I'm completely broke.
~I watch the interviews even though I barely understand a word they're saying. And, when I hear a word I recognize, I fantasize about what they could be talking about.
~All the music I listen to is in Japanese, and I have Ai sareru Yori mo ai shitai on my voice recorder. (Kinki Kids)
~Any time I hear the word "news" or "jump" I automatically think of JE. (News and Hey!Say!JUMP)
~Even though Johnny-san freaks me out (by his obsession with young boys... and the many sexual harassment cases...), I still don't hesitate to practically place my bank account and Christmas/birthday list in his pocket.

* I use underhanded methods to somehow or another give my friends at least a little bit of knowledge about JE.
* When I can't study for a test, I try to use JE member's names or their hobbies to help me.
* Use all the money for JE whenever I have the chance.
* Am in bliss whenever I see a JE person's face ^_^
* Need a JE song to perk me up right after school
* Computer is practically the only connection I can get to JE, that's why I'm on 24/7
* I don't have a single American song in my mp3
* Learning Japanese for the sole purpose to find out what the heck JE members are talking about on the variety shows
* Starts crazy fangirling whenever a person even mentions the word NEWS
* Dream about JE
* When parents boot me off the computer, use the mp3, when mp3 is out of battery, sneak into my sister's iPod, when found out, run to a friend's house and use their computer, when dragged back, use a voice recorder that recorded JE songs while on the comp at friend's house, when voice recorder fails, move to another friend's place and repeat the process.....
* When looking for pics at school (for computer class) sneak a look at Yamapi or Akanishi and immediately get perked up
* Ask friends to make up poses, and I come up with 'Kon Kon'
* Try to get drunk on soybean milk (urgh... =_=)
* Try to beg my papillon dog to somehow swim all the way to Japan and meet up with Tegoshi's papillon
* Grades in school falling dangerously low due to the obsessive rampage of JE
* Try to eat lollipops like Akanishi does in Yukan Club
* Try to make every connection I can to JE

* JE kills your harddrive.

* You dance along the song you're listening to, scaring people in the progress

* Songs get stuck in your head a lot.

* dream too much about your favourite

* try to see your favourite in other people

* don't dream enough about your favourite and actually get angry over it

* stay up late on a school night looking @ JE when you should be doing homework

* check on updates for JE every hour or so

* become really REALLY biased about everything

* fight with friends on which JE guy is better

* I'll say l'll not be on the comp for too long, but find yourself spending the whole entire day doing nothing but watching JE star's stuff.

* stay on youtube, watching JE stuff for entire night, even if each clips are only like 1min-5min

* rewatch everything you've seen of the je stuff, and on uploaded sites, fav every je thing you see, and play all their music repeatedly.

* remember your idols birthdays, birthplaces, bloodtypes and others

- kept having dreams with JE members in it ( but got really annoyed because your fav guy isnt in it*) KAT-TUN in my case
- spend loads of time on the internet searching pics/ info / watching videos on CR/youtube
- your pics file in the computer is full of JE pics (KAT-TUN )
- cant get rid of songs in your head (like me - the other day i was having my Bio lesson when suddenly my head is full of KAT-TUN songs)
- listening JE songs are actually the best relaxation you could ever have ( which also means you couldnt get through a day without listening to even one song)
- try to "advertise" your fav JE group yo your frds/family* very annoying*
- argue with your other frd about who is the most gd-looking
- your fav JE group becomes your biggest temptation in life (whenever my frd ask my whether i want to watch one of their video, i just cant resist it><

a. I can't let people say the word MUSIC STATION ; otherwise my face will turn like Makio in Myboss Myhero.

k. I am fond of looking sling bags, because it reminds me of NOBUTA WO PRODUCE's bags.

a. I often do fox hand at certain places and say Kon.

c. I hate teady bears, but when they are beside me, I will look at it and say " Crazy crazy Rainbow Star. " [ Tackey and Tsubasa ]

h. I often listening to JE songs. Especially Kat-tun and NeWS.

a. I am more into jdramas that consist of JE celebrities. Because I know them better.

n. I don't call soy milk. I used to say Mamechichi.

k. When I draw pictures, faces of Kamenashi will appear. [ meaning that I draw his face ]

i. Eventually, my hair got cut and it is truly Yamapi's hair. I regret.

b. Every words remind me of JE, such as CARTOON = Kat-tun, NEWS = NeWS. Tokyo = TOKIO.
