hey... I love apple! My dad has the iphone and I have 2 itouches, and I have 2 macs. Maybe people just don't like apple because their stuff is overpriced. I admit, they are expensive, but I still think that they make good products, even though it is overrated and they do have their flaws.

You deuced yourself. Nice of you to explain the flaws on the things you prove to love.

The products are nice. You have to give them credit for the design of their hardware and what they've done with their software. It's just that the mass majority of their products is too expensive, and their OS isn't widely used outside of the casual market.

I have an iPod Touch second generation and I love it.
I recently won 500 bucks at the horse races so I though maybe I'd get a 4 gen iPod touch.

Also I'm learning how to program for the iPhone iPod touch / Mac and Xcode(the app you dev software in) is brilliant.

Maybe if I get good I can make money off of software.

Oh an people who think apple is a OS company like microsoft are wrong, apple is 99% a hardware company.

I really don't care for apple or their products.

I only bought an IPOD two years ago because it was more convenient to carry around than my cd player.

I think that bald faggot is taking every opportunity to fuck consumers in the ass.

They let out a slightly altered version of a product, and the one you bought a week ago isn't worth shit anymore.

man im glad lots of people realize the truth behind apple honestly apple should just stick to making ipods, macs arent nearly as good as pc's, plus they're overpriced. the ipad was a complete rip-off, it doesnt even have flash from what i understand. seriously why should i buy an $800 dollar ipod on steroids when i can get use a labtop, that does everything the ipad can do (besides overrated touch) and more. I mean come on, what is up with people getting hung up over touch screens?
Steve Jobs: "ZOMG i can touch this button that is ON THE SCREEN :o"
Me: "Yah ok then you have fun with that, meanwhile i will use my labtop, pressing buttons that arent overly sensitive, and without getting other peoples finger smudges on the screen"

-I don't know about apple products from before, but right now I'm quite content with my iphone, its' many features comes in handy at many times. I like it because it's a phone and ipod in one, I don't have to buy a separate iPod / mp3 for music.
If you don't lower the brightness on the phone the batteries won't even hold for a full day, although that totally depends on how much you use it. That would be the only minus except for the price.

-My Ipod kinda sucked. I got an Ipod nano in 2008 and the battery was awful, it wouldn't recharge properly. I ended up using in only when playing solitaire while having it in the charger. On the other hand my brother's iPod worked well for several years but then it also broke not long ago.

-In the near future I'm planning on getting an apple computer, either a mac book pro or iMac. Probably I'll take an iMac and save my old laptop in case because in some cases a windows is better for sure.
I wouldn't go any further to buy an apple product than so.

iPod's are simply the best, long lasting. I bought mine (iPod Touch 2G) in 08', dropped a couple hundred times on accident. Still works, but the face plate is kinda popping out ever so slightly on the top left. I'm surprised I still even have it, in one piece that is.

I stick to PC when it comes to computers, for gaming obviously. I respect Apple's products, very pricey though. The touch is (was, dunno) the same price as a computer my dad bought for 400 dollars with respectable specs on it with a whopping 600GB HDD. But you would only get the insane prices at first release, then they go down within a year.

Those are my thoughts on Apple products, mainly the popular iPod.

For progression, I would say that they are getting better, also bigger. Whats next? iCarpet?

I think one's opinion on Apple products is really dependent on what your needs are. My iPods, IPhone, and MBP are all wonderful, excellently performing pieces of hardware. Yes, Apple is very proprietary, which limits your freedom somewhat but, that is what contributes to how well their products perform. It would be wasteful to spend the money on a Macbook Pro if you aren't going to need the benefits, but for someone who does, this is the best piece of hardware I own. I am a photographer, my processing needs are very high, the MBP with dual graphics chips and more than 8GB of RAM makes for seamless operation of powerful software manipulating very large files. The entire professional visual, audio, photography worlds are Mac users from what I have seen, which is a lot.

I am not saying there aren't non-Apple alternatives with as much power or a better price-point, but the Mac OSX works flawlessly in very small and powerful package. The price is completely worth it to someone who needs what is offered by Apple. I am not an "Mac Head", I am a former Apple-hater, until I tried their products, then needed their products. I prefer the Mac OSx now, then Ubuntu, Windows last. This is my opinion on this company and their products that I own.

A final comment: In my opinion the iPad is nearly useless, not completely though.
