I think it would be cool to have a keyboard with 2 languages
(preferably english and japanese)
because I could learn Japanese faster....? And it would still be awesome

Wow, I can't imagine how they type fast, I mean, I think it would be easier to type without looking with those keyboards.

I'd think most keyboards worldwide would look the same, but with translation on the keys for people. correct me
if I's wrong now

Good to know. Whats with all the asshats? Seriously if you're from a predominantly english speaking country there is really no way to know. Of course we assume that foreign keyboards have general similarities, but after that I had no idea what to expect.

Haha! Good one with the wooden keyboard picture.

Interesting thread indeed. Other than English, I've only seen Japanese keyboards in person. I'm surprised all of the ones posted pretty much have the same general layout. It's probably not very convenient for some languages.

I think most keyboards have the same layout as long as the country uses the same type of letters.
f.e The only difference between the english and swedish keyboard is that the swedish one has 3 extra letters

actually....the chinese one isnt always like that. my "sis" has a normal keyboard
Posted 5/3/10
well, i'm using a normal keyboard and i type chinese using NJStar communicator by typing the hanyu pinyin of a chinese word then select the correct word that i want by pressing the number. Example: i type "jia", will appear "家﹑加﹑假﹑架﹑夾﹑價﹑佳﹑甲", there's a no. beside each word and i press 3 and i get "假"!
