This is touchy. Stick with your providers until you can provide for yourself. If you want to meet your blood after that point, go for it.

And about your situation, even if you're adopted, so what? Who has put a lot of effort into raising you from a child? The parents before you, or the parents that birthed you? (if adopted, that is) Clearly the ones in front of you have love for you if they would raise you for many years. I personally could not spend that much money and effort on another person, sacrificing my own luxuries.

....Thank you, that made me feel a lot better for some reason. XD

Yeah, I'm not really sure if I have the balls to do that. :/ But thank you, I hope this'll turn out alright. XD

Hmm; Ever heard of the saying "do not ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" ?

In essence, I'd say that applies to your question too. I don't focus on what or who anyone loves as long as I am loving.
I don't control both sides of a traffic flow, in this case a bond, so all I can do is show love to my fellow earthlings
I say earthlings cause there is no distinction in family or friends that way. Those are just labels in my opinion.
