hmm i am just wondering if people read anymore since so many people are here on the internet anyway share your favorite books, favorite genres, books you are currently reading, books you hate or why you don't like to read books.

as for me i like to read, i love reading Meg Cabot's books, they make me laugh xP mangas allow me to past the time when i have nothing else to do, genres i like are romance, comedy, sci. fi., and fantasy

(if there is already a thread on this i am very sorry!)

yep.. i used to read all the time. i stopped now though.. due to...errr.. i owe the library money for accidentally forgetting to return this overdue book xD hahaha. so now i have this overdue bill and they wont let me take out any books until i paid them back.

haha yeah.. but anyways.. i love reading anything by jane austin, lois duncan and lurlene mcdaniel =P hahaha do you see my theme of genre? hehe lovey dovey authors FTW! although i still read books pertaining other genres.. sometimes.. =S

oh and recently i found this book by R.L. Stine (goosebumps and fear street author, ahhaha my favorite author back in my elementary years) AND OMG it was a book that WASN'T horror! it was called "How i broke up with Ernie!" ahahahahaha and it was pretty good i thought. it was funny xD

oh another book a recently read that i recommend is called "stuck in neutral". its crazy!!! haha i forgot who the author was.. because i didnt look at the name of the author.. i just randomly picked it out while waiting for my friend to finish her library monitor duties.. so yeah hahaha. its a good book and an easy read if you dont like reading long books that take up hours of your time.

now i am currently reading "of mice and men" by John Steinback?steinhouse? im not sure... but its not for leisure hahaha its for my english class =P so i dont know if i should count that.. because i HAVE to read it lol. anyway.. if youve seen that movie "the mighty", its kinda like that =S but of old men instead of children haha

I love reading! And not just any specifics genre, either; I'll pick up just about anything. Books are wonderful~

Right now I'm finishing up Slaughthouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut (he makes you laugh AND think). I'd recommend Murakami Haruki's books to anyone who likes psychological thiller-y things; it's impossible to put his books down. And I personally believe that everyone should be exposed to both Faust and Stephen King's The Dark Tower series at some point in life. <3

I finished Ruth Rendels The Keys To The Street.. or The Key To The Street.
It was quite nice! I guess coz it had a little romance, which I luuuurve, and murder so it was generally an alright book.
I'm still in the process of reading two really crap books that I NEED to finish as I finish every book I start.
I don't finish a book unless it's completely and utterly unreadable.
So the first one is Shock by Robin Cook, and the second more crapper one is Hello, Darkness by Sandra Brown.
UFF! I can't be bothered to read either right now. Anime anime anime! I got four uploaded good episodes ready to watch in bed.. Mmmm

I love reading so, so much. :)

There are quite a few threads about books/reading. Is this a duplicate?
