I have... but if its on going it can lead to a lot of complications if it continues, especially if emotions get involved.

I try not to at all anymore just because first off, it feels biologically gross to me and increases chances of STDs. And secondly I've never noticed it really being beneficial to my life. I don't need sex, so I'd rather do it to express myself to someone that I actually like.

As a fuck buddy, FWB, whatever, Since sex is the only part, you don't have to balance things out... it allows you to find a partner solely based on one criteria (with many sub-sections obviously)... So your FWB doesn't have to connect with you financially, be of equal yoke (biblical), presentable to friends/parents, sane, or any other things that you need in a life long partnership... since the relationship is very well defined you can find someone whom you have perfect sexual chemistry (same kinks, stamina, attractions) that way you both are equally pleased... also you don't have the social stigma that comes with a relationship such as being polite to eachother or worrying about coming off as greedy or mean or a jerk...

It's pre-defined who you are and what you want, and you both have mutually agreed on it, so if you just want a blow and go, it's ok, and if she just wants to make out it's fine... and vice versus. It's a very pure form of a relationship... though it's very very very hard to actually find what I am describing since as others have posted, you get attached, emotional, jealous, etc...

Again casual sex isn't sex with a stranger, nor 1 time sex with someone...
