i wonder if they are gonna make another season of it later on or do a bunch of OVAs. because they never really touched up on usui's past and his situation i mean really they go over that over eating side character's one but not the main male lead its retarded. throughout the entire season i was looking forward to learning more about his side of the story and his situation they gave hints but never gave any info its so annoying XD! PLEASE GIVE ME SOMETHING!!!

How is this a personal thread? There are plenty of threads that talk about "Possible 2nd season for *****?* This thread generates discussion. Give it a break with the reporting

I havent seen this anime yet but who knows? It seems popular, especially with the girls so

Maid-sama really could have finished in 12-13 episodes. The show really felt stretched out at times as though they couldn't find a way to compound the manga chapters down into a single episode. Other than that there is one problem.

My biggest issue with this anime is Usui. He's not really something that Misa should pay any attention to. He's a total possessive/stalker boyfriend. Like if they were dating and broke up, he would leave a part of his body or something on her pillow so she wouldn't forget him. I mean, even though they're not dating and you really can't even call them friends, he won't let any guy get near her. I suppose to a 12 year old girl that's cool, but I think it's kind of pathetic.

I give Kaichou wa Maid-sama an 8/10. No need for a second season. There's nothing more to add to their awkward relationship.

From what I have heard, it seems that the show coulda easily finished in 12-13, but overstretched it

from the looks of the last episode, it seems that this is the end. if there will be a second season, most likely it'll happen AFTER the manga is done. but the ending of the first season wasn't open-ended or anything like that, so its safe to bet that there probably won't be a second season

I posted this on another site but i basically still feel like replying the same way lol:

The manga does go on further if ya know where to look for it, it also goes a lot deeper into things like his past e.t.c. I havent read all of the chapters available online enough to know that there would be enough grounds for a S2, maybe after a couple more chapters and a bigger fan base outside of Japan? Either way it was great show for me.

I just finished watching it tonight and I think it ended perfectly.
If they do add more seasons or ovas to it, it would be icing on the cake imho.
But if they don't I won't complain.

i doubt there will be a second season, seen the last episode... and
even though the manga is still ongoing. Im pretty sure this is the end of the anime, they do this a lot with good shoujo mangas that become anime. like kimi ni todoke, the anime ended, but the manga is still going on.

It would be nice to make a second season about Usui's past and some random episodes on the characters present life...

That anime is pretty much over, no need to make more :P
Misa and Usui kissed and expressed their love blabla, so that satified me.
I`ve seen some other shujo/romance animes lately that they don`t kiss or confess their love in, but they`re still much better then Maid-sama.
There was too much glitter in Maid-sama, like a 6 year old girl had dropped her glitter stuff all over it :P
Watch Kimi ni Todoke, it`s better imo.

As much as I enjoyed this anime there really is no need for the second season, it would probably ruin it. Though I haven't read the manga the only thing they never really got into was Usui's past but to make a 2nd season revolving around that and their relationship wouldn't be that good.
