This is 1 reason I'm not religious. This is 1 reason I never attended church. This is 1 reason I will never attend church.

How hard is it to believe that I have higher morals than many of those in at least that first video? At least to me, the answer is pretty clear.

Right on.

I grew up with a religious family, if there was any one thing that turned me away from religion the most it was they fact that they all talked like they knew everything. Like there's no doubts(and of course, if you had doubts about stuff then you were a bad Christian and needed prayer sessions with elders or something). It's all so manipulative, all of it.

Maybe it was because my family never pressured me when it came to religion. In fact my dad only ever brought up religion maybe twice in my life, and he only ever said "You should really think about becoming religious" or something like that. My family doesn't ever really talk about it. I can tell my dad believes in God, but as far as the rest of my family (which spans 7 siblings who almost all have children, as well as cousins), I don't know if any of them are religious.

It's a non-issue. You don't need to be religious to be a good person, and in fact, in ALL religions I know of, you don't even need to be religious to go to Heaven!

Since I'm not religious, I don't believe in Hell. That doesn't make my life terribly lonely or whatever, quite honestly it doesn't change my life (or how I feel about my life) at all whether there's a Heaven or Hell. However, if Hell does exist, I'm pretty confident that there's a whole lot of preachers who are going there.

The saddest thing to me, in this "Jesus Camp", is that these children are being taught NOT to learn. I know that some religions, especially Buddhism, RECOMMEND questioning God. But you know these children never ask "Why?". Because if you ask for more information, you're isolated, and shunned, and any kid who's in the society, whether he believes in God or not, is going to feel horrible about it and will fear it.

I heard somewhere that this particular "Jesus Camp" has been shut down, though that woman isn't quitting her... mission... whatever. But as far as I'm concerned, she's the Pacifist American female version of Osama Bin Laden, and that "Pacifist" part should be taken lightly.

Yes. My mom's family is super religious, so I always have to hear them talking like they're superior, smarter, and "nicer" than anyone else and will go to heaven. When they heard I didn't believe in their gawd, they started pelting my mom with demands for an explanation, and now I have to pretend. Now I can't even trust my own family to accept my beliefs!

Also-my dad is a super Atheist, and is one of the smartest people I know, surpassed only by Einstein and Buddha.

You ungrateful heathens.
All those angels of people are trying to do is save you from hell.
All of you who ridiculed them shall burn.
