yea, me and my friends even came to a conclusion that even though there's girls that are pretty in school, most are sluts
we don't really discuss about ugly people....rather...we don't wanna be mean xD
even if it's only just us friends haha

lol yeah, guys and girls talk about each other in terms of looks all the time. It's not exactly nice, but it happens anyways.

it's like the way our minds are natrually programmed... if you had a really obese, smelly, unibrowed girl sitting next to you on a bus on one side of you... and a really pretty bombshell on the other side who would you talk to? simple the bombshell however the pretty one has no personality what so ever and is quite mean spirited whilst the other girl is the kindest person you can meet! but will you regret talking to the bombshell? no... why? because it is likely you won't even give her a chance

True. But there are lots of people out there who also have good personality. I'd like to say there are also lots of people who look bad, but are also bad in personality. And same for the other way around, there are also lots of people who look good, and have shy or good personalities to go with it.

I have however talked to many people in "look" categories that don't look appealing at all, some became my best friend, but some are also really bad in personality.

There are just too many different types of people it's hard to really give a stereotype for certain people.

For myself, I'm usually mistaken to be quite unapproachable, but I'm really open and despite what I wear, I'm actually really shy. I find it hard to talk to a lot of people unless it's online, and I can't express my ideas well. But it's also because of that that I try to do things that a "shy" person usually wouldn't do. Resulting in an awkward thing, where people always think or categorize me as one way, whereas I'm really not.

I was in a lecture the other day and some guys were passing a list around with titles such as "Most annoying hungover girl on a Thursday morning" and "Prettiest girl" around and my name came under "Hardest girl to get with"

Well I'm sorry if I don't sleep around twats. You can look but if you touch me I'm most likely to claw your eyes out -__-

As ashamed as I am at how superficial and immature this is - yes, back in HS we did have a sort of rating for the "hottest girls."

We had a power ranking list, and even a sort of tourney bracket.

While I'm sure there were groups in my high school that did this. My friends never did...at least with real girls. We had the tendency to do this with fictional characters, mainly from anime and video games...lol

If we had done this, we'd probably get expelled once word got around.

Girls do it all the time. It's irritating.

I have a feeling the girl's version was more appropriate than the boys...

I mean we went all out. Like March Madness, we had girls ranked into #1, #2, #3 seeds, etc. and had them matchup against each other and see who would win and progress to the next round.

The guys who organized the tourney were suspended for like a week when the faculty found out. XD

Yes and HS girls do the same but with complex labels rather than ugly or handsome its phrased with less offensive language.

Boys focus too much on the ranking. Girls usually pick 3 or so guys straight away and start talking about how much they would like to do this and that to them.

All I can say about this ranking thing is "too much free time"... I normally just make a mental note of attractive girls then try to find the intelligent and funny ones. I can't stand dumb females...or overly dramatic ones
