I saw this at http://www.f4wonline.com/content/view/17727/ and thought it would make a good poll question!

I'll paraphrase the rules to this poll from the piece:

"Who would you like to see pushed higher up the ranks. It could be someone from the main WWE rosters, FCW or currently unattached to WWE at all. If possible, give reasons as to why you think they show potential to draw money for WWE from 2011 on. It will be interesting to see who the fans would genuinely like to see more emphasis placed on rather than who WWE management want to feed to us."

I'll put 4 guys on the poll part who are on the cusp for pushes going into 2011 but of course this is a pretty open ended question so do reply too with either why you chose someone on the poll or gave another choice by choosing Other! Enjoy!

I've voted for Daniel Bryan my reasoning in that by having the US title he can be pushed as a fighting champion to hopefully elvate the belt as Raws number 2 singles title.Kaval would be my other choice as a bit like Bryan he's unqiue for a WWE wrestler in that his style is differnt from most of the roster.

i voted for Other

i woulda picked Del Rio or Bryan, but since theyre already currently getting their pushes, that would seem kinda counter-productive to pick them. so yah, im glad theyre getting pushed at the moment.

now to who i would LIKE to see get a push...

i know ive said this a few times before in various threads in this groups forum, but ill say it again. i wanna see the USOS get their push. id like to see them get their push all the way to the Tag Titles. i know they might be a tad green, but not by much, imo. i believe they are the top contenders in the tiny WWE Tag division and they proved it by beating the Hart Dynasty and Santino/Koslov in the Tag Turmoil gauntlet at the last PPV. i think the Usos should get more mic time and possibly even a face turn in order to feud with the current champs Drew/Cody. theyre great workers, skilled newbies and with Tamina in their corner theyd be awesome Champs!

I'll say for this Kaval should get the push. So far he's still got the rookie stigma despite his indy experience since that's how the WWE sees wrestling history. I hope he doesn't got on too long a losing streak considering Chavo is pretty low on the pecking order. I really wish him the best to get his wish of a feud with Rey as well.

For a second pick aside the others listed needing more of a push or least a good continuation of current pushes with no more start/stop scenarios like past talent has had like Jack Swagger, MVP, Evan Bourne, the Hart Dynasty, Drew McIntyre, Ted Dibiase Jr. and so forth.

If someone deserves a shot that hasn't yet and bear with me is Zack Ryder. Yes I'm a mark for how silly he is, but after seeing how he hangs so many times with Edge unlike say his fellow former Edgehead Curt Hawkins, he's paying his dues and is decent in ring too I find. He stands out as a character and am not saying he'll get a world title push but I think he'd do well in a US or IC title chase. Woo woo woo you know it!

im at work right now, and the boss isnt around, so im killing time here on CR while waiting for my lunch break. but anyways, its 12 noon and RAW isnt until 9pm later tonight. so we dont really know who the new Nexus dudes are just yet. but im assuming through numerous slow motion replays on my friends DVR that they are Rotunda and Hennig from NXT Season 02. if we are correct, then those 2 are who id wanna see get a push.

Rotunda got all the qualities of a good heel, but his in-ring needs some polishing(and sanding and grinding). Hennig can go, but his mic work needs work. so with the Nexus, they could have a platform to blend in and hone those needed skills. hopefully they get a push... a good heel push, since i think Cena will turn some of the Nexus face while hes a member.

but we wont really know until RAW tonight, which is in about 9 hrs for me...

Well as noted on other wall comments/forum threads the needs right now seem to be heels in particular for Smackdown. Right now you got Kane/Paul Bearer, Vickie Guerrero (with pending how Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn end up) and Jack Swagger who are on top for heel heat and being past or present top heels at one time or another. Also we got DASHING Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre as the tag champs, Lay-Cool as the Unified Divas champs for title holding heels that can be on Smackdown (and RAW of course when needed or planned). As noted Alberto Del Rio is getting the big push and hopefully it continues.

Leaves then as I checked for the moment without a callup from FCW, an injury returnee or trade the following active talent who could be pushed from the mid/low card:
-Chavo
-Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer
-The Dudebusters
-Tyler Reks (who does dark matches)
-Shad Gaspard (who technically is still with Smackdown but has been in FCW for a while now)

Well slim pickings but I'll go out on a limb that maybe if you split Hawkins and Archer one of them might be worth a better look and push to least up a level to fill the heel needs.

Tyler Reks is dark no more, well, he's still dark, just not in the dark matches
I think they should give that masterpiece guy a decent run instead of quitting on him halfway through a halfassed push;
Chavo is probably the best wrestler on the smackdown roster and he doesn't get any recognition what so ever.
And lastly, they could always switch mvp back to heel

Just putting a piece up here at http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2010/12/16/16577421.html on how Alberto Del Rio's push occurred and maybe hope others in 2011 get a similar push whether they got the pedigree (Alberto is the son of Dos Caras, uncle is Mil Mascaras who are both huge names in Mexico) or the in ring experience or not (10 years for Caras Jr. before coming to the WWE) or the gimmick (went from masked traditions to the current act) that the WWE gets behind pushes like his.

Wow been a while but will push this topic back near the top for new members to respond. It's about new talent who have yet to get to the top end of the WWE which is pretty wide open these days. That can be NXT talent yet to make the main roster or new talent just starting off on the main shows to guys on the cusp. A nice piece to get some ideas from comes from former WWE referee, Canadian Jimmy Korderas who posts regularly. His piece is at http://wwe.sportsnet.ca/wwe/fallout-night-champions/ talking about the future past Night of Champions heading to Hell in a Cell, while reporter Chris Morrison also talks about the future for Roman Reigns who is now injured at http://wwe.sportsnet.ca/wwe/reigns-pours/ Grantland also has their reporter the Masked Man David Shoemaker has a piece on who could be pushed to the top of the WWE hierarchy at http://grantland.com/the-triangle/wwe-next-big-thing-john-cena-brock-lesnar-roman-reigns-seth-rollins-dean-ambrose-bray-wyatt-rusev/

Enjoy the readings and post your talent you want to see pushed to the top!

Every single one. I want an actual ranking battle, where wins and losses matter in order to know who's who for title contention. It's not because you're hot.
