As of late (i.e., at least the past few months), they seem to be combining all series. Only time will tell if this is a trend going forward, however, as they have done this before. For example, there are no separate entries for Asura Cryin' and Asura Cryin' 2 or Neo Angelique Abyss and Neo Angelique Abyss - Second Age, which have been here for some time, while some later series got separate entries (i.e., Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu and Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Purezza - ).
It may be as simple as different people handling the creation of the pages for the series, and CR having no strict guidelines about the matter.
Personally, I am with you on this, and prefer separate listings.

You're asking for more mature titles, but you didn't cite any examples. Of course, CR cannot license a simulcast of a title that isn't on the Fall schedule.
As you pointed out, there is also competition for licensing (primarily from Funimation), and they have existing business relationships, just as CR does, which will give them an edge on certain titles.

You seem to have already decided that CR will make no further simulcast announcements. In the event you have forgotten, in the past CR has made the announcements much closer to the time of the simulcast.
You may have not noticed, but as of this moment, Funimation and TAN have made zero announcements. In fact, I suspect that Funimation may wait until the NY Comic Con to announce any simulcasts.
Regarding Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, if you are labeling it as perverted based on the name, you are off base. I make no judgment as to whether it is worth watching, but If it is supposed to be ecchi, the preview certainly is not putting that across. Also, the art style does not lend itself to that.
As to Sora no Otoshimono Forte, guilty as charged, but since they had the first series (and thus know how very well it performed), would you really expect them to pass on the second one?
No, I hadn't already decided that, that was all they were going to do. I was just saying that I didn't like the ones that were there. Also, Panty and Stocking.. uh, they were holding their panties and stretchy them and show them off... If that is any indication on what's going on in that anime, then yeah, I did make that judgment on it being on the perverted side. As for art style, that in a lot of cases doesn't matter. It can still be "ecchi". *shrugs*
And yes, you are right about the 2nd season of Sora no Otoshimono. It does seem logical to get it if the first season was a hit (not for me though..lol).
Oh, I missed the Funimation bit.. sorry. Let's see. Er, well, I don't really follow them.. too be honest. And I don't even know what TAN is. I mean, I've watched a lot of stuff on Funimation, but considering that they don't really keep up with the whole "Out right after the show air's in Japan!" thing.. I don't pay much attention their announcements. So, yeah, sorry. I didn't really have anything to add to that *laughs*

TAN = The Anime Network. Just today, they annouced Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls (which is ecchi), as a simulcast.
