Can chu teach me how to do the beamish thing in gimp? i can use gimp but i barely use it except for rendering

Ok..Sorry if I can't provide pictures, all i can do are instructions...

1. Open your Image
2. Layer>New Layer
3. A dialog box will appear, just click transparency then OK
4. Make sure that the brush size is thin and the foreground color is white.
5. Click on the Paths tool and stroke it around your character or anywhere else you like it to be in.
6. Go to Edit>Stroke Path
7. A dialog box will appear, click the Stroke with paint tool
8. Create a new layer
9. you can now thicken the brush and change the foreground color to anything you want.
10. Edit>Stroke Path>Stroke with a paint tool
11. In your layers box, drag the 3rd layer behind the 2nd layer.
12. Go to Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur
13. Set the Blur Radius to anything you like..

Then you're finished.

-i'm not really sure about it...but i think from the original pic, the creator increased/decreased the backlight.

-then, the creator added photos in the original pic..if you want i can give you some avii designs..just tell me..

-then, type in the text you want. i think the creator multiplied the text in to five by clicking the + sign beside the text..

-then, for the border, click on the "Draw Round Box". then draw it around the avii...

i see...in that case you can only get images with url in Photobucket.com.....u see, url is not the address where you found ur pic..it is the actual code of the image itself...btw, it's easier to just upload from your file than to use image url..
