The page for the series said it would be available until 11:59 PM Pacific on 10/1/10. It's already down, but 11:59 PM pacific isn't for another 6 hours and 59 minutes. I still had 5 episodes left and, per the time you stated your contract ran out, I should still be able to watch them. I request that either they be restored for the remainder of the time they were advertised as being available, or a news post explaining why it was taken down earlier than advertise and promise that new policies will be put into place to prevent this from happening in the feature. I hope you will agree that I am not asking for anything unreasonable.

It would be nice if CR put out a "Last chance to watch" bulletin for series that were going to be pulled, instead of just a notice on the page of the series itself.

Yeah. This is not the first time I've been burned by a series being taken down. Usually, it's been because I don't know it's going to be taken down. This time, I actually saw that it was being taken down and rationed episodes so that I could finish in the advertised time, only for it to come down prematurely.

Come on! Nothing?! Do the people running this site really not care?! Kind of a time-sensitive issue here!!!

I'm not sure what time it was supposed to be removed at so I'll have that looked into. Also, I'll see if a section can be added for shows that are only available for a limited time.

I've calmed down a bit since the other night. Thank you for looking into this.

Ouch got me too. After seeing this I check the shows on my watch list and 2 of them were removed (Ristorante Paradiso and Aiohana) . Not a huge deal with so much stuff to watch but it would be great to have the limited time section.

Aiohana was actually removed some time ago. I remember responding to a message about it in this section a few weeks ago.

I strongly support a "countdown" section that would list series that have a known removal date, listed in order of removal. Listing series due to be removed within 30 days in the newsletter could be even more quickly implemented.

As an example, I'll wager few people that have not watched Strike Witches 2 know that it will be gone by the end of the month.

Luckily I caught that one a little quicker and am going to have it finished probably by the end of the weekend.

this is a very good idea! it actually should be front page material.

i wanted to watch this show but haven't had the chance to get around to it. if i had known that it would only be available for a limited time, i could've added it to my list of to-watch priorities (it probably would've generated lots of views, too!).

Since we are talking about shows that have set times that they will go bye-bye on the site, there should at the very least be an updated forum pages with the expiration dates and times. Obviously, the shows that have the earliest expiration times that I have not watched will be priority one for me to watch.

I wonder if others would like to have this feature.

Go Go Go BasouKazuma on getting this feature up and running. I had no idea about Strike Witches 2 going down at the end of the month. I will have to get on that. Thanks for the info.

It occurs to me that the biggest problem is that this information is only on the main series pages, so people using the new episode links never see the availability limit notices.

I would like a show's expiration date to be more apparent as well. I was already angry when I heard Ristorante Paradiso was removed before I had a chance to watch it, and now I just discovered that The Book of Bantorra is also gone. This is really frustrating because if I knew their expiration dates before hand, then I would have taken the time to watch them before their license expired. A countdown list, email alerts, or anything would be better than the nothing that's going on right now.

Also, what are the chances of Ristorante Paradiso, The Book of Bantorra, and Aoi Hana getting re-licensed for streaming?

Thanks for the heads up for Strike Witches 2. I am currently on the last DVD of the first season and was planning on catching up on a few other shows before starting Strike Witches 2. A countdown section would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if the currently airing countdown section could be ordered by order of airing. (IE, the next simulcast should be at the top). It would make it easier to know what episode simulcasts are coming up next. Unless there already is a way of doing this and I am just ignorant on how to do it.
