Well Im pretty sure this anime will probably have the most amount of viewers. Anyway the first season was great, and now we get the 2nd installment. I kinda forgot the plot except of just protecting Index, but Im sure we will all be refreshed in no time. Tho this first episode did seem random almost, but Im sure that guy is going to have some importance later in the show. Seems he controls air....and he could practically teleport....but Kuroko probably is better.

Anyway talk about the show, its episode, or anything in general

I dont think Ill be watching more of this show until I finish Railgun....dont wanna get left out of the loop :/ But thats probably not going to happen this week so have fun with this thread

That was pretty dumb of them to do what they did at the end of ep 4, I too was thinking wtf(at the end of ep 4)

Anyway, it has been a while since I've seen the first season, first ep didnt seem too random, but the later eps were(eps 2,3,4) maybe because to me it seemed like they quickly switched directions, first he was doing his homework and now he ends up have to "them"

Just watched episode 4.

First off, I find it odd how like 1 episode ago....the nuns kicked the shit out of all of Tamila's subordinates....but now the subordinates kick their asses? What the hell?

Second, couldnt those nuns have simply put something in their ears? The way it looked like....it seems they are deaf now.

To make yourself deaf just for one stupid battle? Ridiculous.

And dammit I need to watch Railgun. I need to see the famous Kuroko for myself

Of course they are, they stuck a pen thing through they`re eardrum :P
It`s a pretty stupid way to avoid that Index song, if they had 2 big pens on them why couldn`t they just have something else to put inside they`re ears instead, like earplugs :P

Railgun you should watch, one of the main characthers is voiced by the same girl who voiced Yui XD

In episode 9 of the first series, they had the medical technology to re-attach Toma's arm, so I expect repairing damaged ear drums would be no big deal.

Punctured or ruptured ear drums can actually heal on their own, given proper treatment, although it can take up to 2 months.

Oh ok. Yea that doctor does seem to be pretty amazing.

And on a random note.....it seems odd how no one has been able to actually kill Toma yet. Like if I was a magician or w/e, and I could shoot energy blasts, and I had a gun, I would probably say something like "See if you can Negate this!", shoot the energy blast, but then right after simply shoot the gun, he negates the blast, but then gets hit in the head with a bullet.

And even if you didnt have guns or other normal weapons. If someone was able to have like.....energy spheres surround him and just shoot him from all directions, he obviously wouldnt be able negate them all.

AH who am I kidding, Toma has been doing one hell of a job protecting Index.

And on a more random note. I often see the comparison between Ika Musume and Index.....but honestly....Im not sure what the similarities are.....is it because they are both airheads? Both short lolis? Because of them both having something white on their heads? Index usually has that cat-like smile, but I never see Ika musume with it

I don't see much of a connection between the two either but then again I've never heard of anyone comparing the two until now. And if you still haven't seen Railgun then I suggest doing so. I find it to be a bit better than the Index series as its plot seems more focused. The manga goes further than the series but its great when it gets to the part about the clones as a lot more happens to Misaka rather than it being an exact repeat of what happens in Index season 1. It'd be nice if both series plots merged even further although I'm thinking this will eventually happen.

Episode 5.

I like how there is some strategy in how Touma fights and all.....but I really am getting annoyed at all the damage he takes and just 2 hits to a Loli nun commander knocks her out.

But even then we didnt really understand Agnase's power. Touma just hit some barrier which I guess we are to assume shot out those blasts.

And I still don't understand why those nuns didn't back her up. I was originally thinking it was because they simply couldn't hear her. But apparently it was because there faith was shaken or something? I dont really get it. Is it because the church was destroyed and that basically destroyed all of the pride of the Nuns so they couldnt fight back or something? Seems kinda odd.

Now I really need to watch Railgun considering there seems to be a bunch of characters in the next episode from Railgun.

Railgun is much better , not as dark
its still ok so far.
If you have not seen index S 1 then you wont know how
touma got his power and why he is defining Index.
So watch S 1 and railgun. then you will know what is going on.
still no saten san yet!!!.

Yea I saw season 1, though Im sure I forgot a good portion of it, but I still need to see Railgun.

And I don't recall of how Touma got his power.

And on a random note: I think its quite shocking that no one has simply shot Touma in the head with a gun. Would save the enemies so much trouble

Episode 6. Ok I didnt really understand what happened in this episode at all.

I dont remmeber what the Tree Diagram was....I dont know what the Remnants was.....is there something from Railgun that I would have needed to seen to have understood this episode? Or were they things from the first season that I have just forgot?

And how did Misaka figure out where that other Teleporter was?

This episode does have a lot to do with Misaka's story in Railgun. The tree diagram is an orbital super computer that was used in a lot of things in academy city like the Misaka clone experiment from the first season and Railgun series. Although the teleporter in this episode never made an appearance in the Railgun anime I think she probably shows up in the manga but what I've read hasn't gotten to that point in the story.
