Do you mean stop watching anime as a whole? Or just stop watching a particular anime?

I stopped watching in the early 2000's for a while when watching anime was really expensive - I just couldn't afford it at the time. Ruruoni Kenshin alone cost me around $500. I'm really thankful for legal streaming. While nostalgic, I'm glad the days of buying overpriced VHS from shady convention dealers are over.

I didn't entirely understand the question either.

However, I have pretty much watched all the animes (I can source out) that I like already. There seem to be no more that can interest me.

Naturally I've gone back to even the 90's. Although shows like Ninku (1990) are hard to find online.

Once, when I was with my second boyfriend.
>_>" I thought he would see me as an idiot if I watched anime...
But after a few days laying in his room watching episodes of Naruto that he put on.
My relationship with anime was stronger than ever.

Haha that's awesome. I only started cause a friend introduced me to it, and I liked watching it privately as it wasn't something I wanted to advertise.

Same thing with me man. I started watching anime in college after a friend introduced me to it, but I don't think I'd ever tell anyone other than people I trust, that I'm into anime. I use to think about giving anime up, but I never got around to doing it. Some of the shows just keep getting better and better.
