Moe, schoolgirls/schoollife/, lolis, amnesia, harem, tsunderes. This is mostly in Japanese dubs, because Western women can't even dream of reaching that level of annoyingness, EXTREMELLY HIGH PITCHED VOICES. I hate, hate, HATE, HATE, HATE THEM! Actually just the voices of characters in Japanese in general, they all sound so dull and they all sound like something you've heard before. Doesn't matter what it is.

funny i feel the complete opposite about dub overs for engilsh.

Have you guys heard of Eureka Seven? Its very original In no way is it cliche. At least I don't think so.
No ditsy girls, no high school drama, no long speeches when a full on battle should be happening, and i rarely ever see a mech-based anime with love, drama and action all in one! Plus the plot is really un-cliche. Just saying.

I know this is about "Cliche" stuff, but Im just giving an example of what an anime is like without being cliche, and this particular anime is pretty opposite. In fact, its most likely one of the best anime EVER.

Oh, that's right. This site even has Eureka Seven ^^. Also don't forget BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad.

High pitched voices
Characters who have a fixed seating (usually window seating and are seated at the back) in class

When a protagonists chews up half an episode which they figure what to do next. And someone has to always guide them
- Yusei Fudo
- Tsuna

When a protagonist say that "they can't do it, it's to hard". They immediately give up, saying it's useless to even try
- Tsuna
- Yoga Kimimaro

The "robot talkers". If you want to say something, JUST SAY IT!!. These are the ones that open their speech with "uh...well" and "...nevermind, it's nothing". And they always have that "eh?!" When they try to communicate. They just fall flat and their speech just locks up.
- Yoga Kimimaro
- Tsuna
- Sena Kobayakawa

wow... you really hate Tsuna, don't you? XD

Anyway.

1. Harems with clumsy heros plus a whole lot of ecchi/ Reverse harems with clueless heroines. (Special mention: Kahoko Hino and Yuki Rito)

2. Tsunderes. The world has too many of them already.

3. Moe characters who don't serve any other purpose than adding moe to scenes.

4. Girls transferring into previously all-boys' schools. They used to be original. Now there are too much of them.

I'll think of more a little later.

When a character seems utterly unable to communicate something that should be easy to explain and thus causes a simple mix-up to spiral out of control.

Annoying nosy classmate: "Have you spent all that time with Female Lead because you like her!?"
Male Lead: "That's not it! *doesn't say anything else*"

Bloody explain it to them then.

On a related note, the bathhouse scene where the guys walk in on the girls that seems to be in everything. It's really, really not that hard to say 'I got the times mixed-up! Let's pretend this never happened,' is it? Apparently so! Oops, a girl just hit you in the head with a wash basin, silly you.

lol you bet

1 - Characters who don't act their age. They need a good slap upside the head to bring them to reality
- Tiger [Kotetsu]

What really annoys me is all the unnecessary fan service some animes are subjected to... So many animes are subjected to this I don't even feel like an example is in order. Also female characters being very clumsy

Girls who can't save their own lives - seriously, at least know a little bit of self defense
Fan Service - When it does get a little too overboard
Big Tits - no, seriously. It's too common.

This has become a particularly annoying trope as of late. For me, at least.
