Hello. Does any iTouch/iPhone owner notice a mobile version of CR's website (NOT the app you download) before logging in? For some reason, it's not playing any video.

Our Mobile Website requires Adobe Flash 10.1 Mobile. iOS devices do not support Adobe Flash since Steve Jobs (Apple) simply does not want it supported so you need to use the Crunchyroll app.

Whether the decision was a way to prevent people from freely accessing applications without using the App Store, is still up for debate. Though, as can be seen with Android OS, it was made to be turned on or off at the user's discretion so Apple could have just supported it and had it permanently off by default while giving the user the option to change it to On Demand or Permanently On.

It would be best that the CR website does not redirect iOS devices to the mobile site but instead the full site. That way users don't have to keep hitting the Full Site link on the mobile site.

Thanks although that link is too much to read (I'm not a tech wiz like). I appreciate the feedback.

you can always jailbreak your ipod and install flash that way, that's what I did.

the only problem with jailbreaking is that if your phone/touch breaks it is no longer covered by warranty, insurance I wouldn't know

The Frash plugin is unable to play flash video. How were you able to get it to play Crunchyroll flash videos?

i never get a warranty for anything if it breaks I do my best to fix myself and I am not found of apple reps as it is. I do-not mind there products but there are huge dicks about what you can and can do on "their' devices. To answer chris's question look around the net goole is your best bet because it's against forum rules to post links to fan-sub, hacking and other sites as far as I know.

I did search around and came to the conclusion that video playback with Frash (especially drm protected videos, like on CR) is not possible at the moment and they the developers of the Frash plugin are currently working on video support. If there have been advancements with this, please post a link.

And the Supreme Court ruled that jailbreaking is legal so it should not be against the forum rules if you post a link to a site about jailbroken apps.
