Episodes: 7/11
So 4 weeks left, but for all we know there could come more seasons, we don`t know how this one ends so.
The manga is still being published.
Some specials are set to air Jan 28, 2011 to Apr 22, 2011, called Kuragehim Heroes.

that sucks, too bad it didn't get the 12-13 or 24-26 episode treatment. I honestly love this show, i really didn't think much of it at first based on how it was describe but once I watched I got hooked. theres just something about it that I think anyone can relate to. also the opening and ending songs make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and not in an intestinal virus kinda way but in a good way.

I like it. It's pretty interesting. But i can't get of the feeling that the manga artist that runs the place is actually Kuranosuke's mom.

Roughly translated it means "Even So the Town Keeps Turning" and yeah it is an awesome show. It's definitely underrated.

I find Kuragehime to be a rather good series, but I really can't see how so many people are loving it.

Since I personally enjoyed this show so far, here's my reason for it:
This show is like a fresh air for those who've been jaded by the decline quality of more recent titles from 2010 - Most characters are well fleshed-out, with a vibrant and likable personalities, and the comedy have been consistent each episode, which are arguably the fundamental factor which contribute to the effectiveness of the show. To put the icing on the cake, the balance between its humor and drama are well utilized, allowing most of its audience to have a laugh, while not missing out on any significant character development.

If there's anything I'm worried about, is its last episode. So far, it has established quite a bit of a sub-plots, which insofar have done a great job at tying together without ruining any of its story. However, being only 11 episodes, I have a bad feeling that it won't be able to quite finish itself perfectly, due to the fact that it needs to resolve three major conflicts, namely:

I really hoped that the series itself would be 13 episode to allow a less rushed ending, but I'll wait and see for the last episode.

There has to be some feature of series like Kuragehime that I fail to see or don't particularly care about... For similar styled series which also receive lots of praise, I find myself really enjoying some while there are others that I only find to be decent (even though I don't particularly hate anything about them). I'm clueless as to what it is that actually makes me enjoy much more than others, even though they are at a similar level quality wise.

Anyway, Kuragehime would be near the top of my "decent" group, so I guess that's why people who do pick up on what I'm missing are loving it?

I liked the series overall.

But I'm especially in love with SHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. He was just too fucking cute!!!!!!!
Too bad it ended already. I'm hoping for a second season but I don't think that's happening...
