Can't say bout the future, but this particular offer is naught more than just a link to a F2P game. It ain't gonna generate spam, costs or anything like that. These games are targeted at wide, mostly poorer audience, letting those that have cash to become easily among the "elite" with little work.
All ya probably will get is newsletter, although all ya need to do to prevent that is to click that lil box with "Get e-mail's from Turbine" thingie.
Seeing "offers" and jumping at the site that uses em without even double-checking shows how prejudiced people become.
(Its still a good idea to use a junk-mail for signing up to various sites, separate from one for personal use, but that's a wholly separate thing.)
Don't like it, don't use it. Let those that have more will to check new things up, think for themselves as well, without infecting em with your biased opinions, please.

Don't know why it didn't work right before but the lotr promotion needed me to register then sign up for a free subscription through the button above the sign up. I havent seen other with this problem but I thought I'd pass it on for future possible posts on this issue.

At least, using chrome, being logged in to Crunchy, clicking the link and filling 'er up.
I did get the free trial to lotro but no episode passes, so... To fail!
I mean, it is not wrong to say that "It did not work" when it didn't work, no? |
