So I was skimming through this interesting article in the latest issue of Smithsonian magazine about the murder of Czar Nicholas II and his family and about this group of people who call themselves "royalists" that are planning on trying to restore the monarchy in Russia (even through a coup d'etat). I was amazed to find that there are other people in the world besides myself who like the idea of a monarchy. Which leads me to this very question: Which type of government would you prefer to live under, a monarchy or a presidency? (Unless you want to live in a communist state, but I highly doubt anyone would!) Discuss your choice.

Well, it's just that there are very few monarchies left in the world, so I think the whole idea is so vintage that it's fresh and interesting. In a way, it kind of reminds me of a simpler time, like an escape from this cold, modernized world that we live in. You know what I mean?
