What is this American flare thing???

As bad as people who throw fits about people making movies from cartoon shows.

I judge them separately based on what they offer.. Not on a stander created from another show or place.

Its pretty good so far and although its great they put Wolverine in there they probably shouldn't put him in any more episodes cause he will end up stealing the show from Iron Man.

Why not?

Iron man is originally made by an American, why can't I have an American standard for judging this Japanese rendition?

It would make less sense not comparing the two.

I have to agree with ANIMEKAMI I have seen a many american shows where they try to rip off anime and it doesn't look right. To be honest it's horrible when they try to do that. It's also safe to say that that a japanese version of an american comic/cartoon/movie just wouldn't be up to what we would expect it to be. I'm a BIG comic fan since I was a kid and I also love anime even lived in Japan for a short while. It seems to me that they just turned Iron Man into a mecha fighting mecha anime. I doubt you'll see an appearance of lets say The Mandarin which hands down was Iron man's biggest nemesis.

SO Logan is a mecha?

Last time I checked the American movie's both of them was mostly MECHA vs MECHA.. Do you complain about them?

Did you complain about America's Godzilla. Or take it like Japan did and just consider them separate monster. And Had Japans Godzilla own it in 30 secs. In a fight.

using Japanese cartoon is ...wrong, that is since Japanese separate anime and manga it does not make much sence
I can assume that it is reffing to the comics and the style of animation
but I have not read the comic nor seen the animation

yes cartoon can stand for both manga or Animation. It can also refer to just one or the other. SO it is a usable term in all its glory.

I'll give the Japanese version of Ironman a try whenever I feel like it. Although I'll most likely NEVER be able to get into the anime version of Wolverine, mainly because Logan looks like a anorexic fag.

Actually, to be honest I didn't like the first two Iron Man movies. I would have prefered to see Iron man fight something other than a mecha. And just because logan showed up doesn't mean they were fighting anything other than a mecha. What I'm trying to get at is from the first 4 episodes I can see that you won't find Iron Man fighting anything but a mecha in this series. If that's ok with you then so be it, I'm not arguing with it one way or another. But! Personally I like to stay true as possible to the original comic book series because I am a fan of the comics and Iron Man fought a ton of different foes with both mecha and supernatural abilities and I don't think you'll see that in this show. Does it make it a bad show? No. Does it mean I'll like it? No. And can any real Iron Man fan here say that they wouldn't have preferred to see Iron Man fight the Mandarin in either one of the movies? I was really disappointed that he didn't. By the way the American version of Godzilla SUCKED!!!! I can't believe you brought that up it even bombed in the box office when it was in theaters.

Its like how I was disappointed when one of Batman's greatest archvillians Ra's al Ghul was executed terribly in Batman Begins because the stupid director wanted the movie to feel realistic .
