Just on the heels of the whole offer to UFC former champ Brock Lesnar, and past talks of bringing in Sting and/or Goldberg while considering Cena (as a heel) and Sheamus, thought a fun poll looking towards the next Mania might be in order. If you got another choice just reply to the thread with who and why too. Of course consider too the Streak would be on the line if Taker is healthy enough to go, which I'm sure he plans to be getting his body looked up now and getting surgery early if needed.

For some help too at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WrestleMania_XXVII things to note too in your selection perhaps:

*Mania is in Atlanta, a former WCW homebase where guys like Sting and Goldberg made their names.

*Brock is a former WWE talent like Goldberg, while Sting's never been in WWE and been chased for years.

*Cena was teased a few times crossing paths with Taker at PPVs or RAW. Sheamus meanwhile is one of the few current top end heels out there who could benefit huge push wise at his young age from a Taker feud, and past PPVs again hinted a feud with Taker and/or Kane.

Have fun with the poll!

Goldberg would have to absolutely destroy some people leading up to mania if he were to pull this off.
But if he just pops up at mania, I'd say hell no.

But how about that Kevin Nash story, eh;
Think he could pull off a slight draw at mania?

Oh good point made lemon. I chose Sting due to the whole Crow aura matching Taker's gimmick, being in Atlanta a WCW hotbed and finally Sting being the 1 guy who never came over to the WWE and Vince has been pursuing him for years, but I think he might be one who needs to hold off that first match to Mania with build of the mind games. Goldberg you're right he was about his own winning streak and would need some huge wins if to be Taker's Mania opponent.

I did post in the news Nash posting online how he wants in by the Rumble, win it and challenge Taker at Mania. I'm not sure he has the draw power even as another old WCW name. Even Sid Vicious/Justice who also is knocking on WWE's door to return might be a slightly better choice than Nash-but it shows that the Taker streak is so big even if you're another victim on the list to one's career. Now it's also about how healthy Taker can be and if he needs the surgery. Taking a year off is not unusual during the streak but the WWE is hurting right now for something to draw fans to their biggest PPV and yearly of late it's been the Streak.
