Any Mixed Martial Arts fans out there?
I'm a big fan of the sport and occasionally do lessons ( but mostly do no-gi grappling ).

I do taekwondo and wing chun, I've done some muey thai and jiu jitsu, but I focus mostly these days on my wing chun and taekwondo, as I feel like they serve their purpose in real self defense, aswell as a great workout and loads of fun during practice.. I don't compete because I think competing is overrated, but of course I spar during practice to get a feel of real contact.
I've been thinking about doing some mma considering I got quite a lot of experience, however, wing chun is not a MA made for the ring, considering it's really about self defense only (kicks to the groin, eye-poking etc).. however, taekwondo can definitely be used, I do ntf taekwondo which doesn't just involve kicking, wtf-style tkdpracticioners get torn apart :P..
once I earn my blackbelt in taekwondo I will most likely attempt on jiu jitsu again, but I doubt I'll study for many years, but at least two or so, it's great to know your way around when you're on the ground =)
