American TV is adapting a Korean movie into a TV series. So why not the other way around.

http://www.deadline.com/2010/10/fx-adapting-korean-film-soo-to-series/

FX is working on a series project based on the 2007 Korean movie Soo (aka Act of Revenge) with Barry Josephson (Life as We Know It) on board to executive produce. A History of Violence writer Josh Olson is writing the adaptation, a drama exploring the nature of identity through the lens of twin brothers -- one a detective and one a hitman. After witnessing the killing of his estranged twin brother, a hitman decides to assume his life and become a policeman to find those responsible.

What if a popular Korea station (KBS, MBC, SBS) adapts GLEE into a Korean setting? Would it be popular?

Superstar K is an adaptation of American Idol/X-Factor and it is very popular in Korea. Would GLEE work? And would you watch it?

p.s. For those that don't know what Glee is, it's a very popular American TV show right now. Here's a video of the TV show GLEE (two cast members singing the song Lucky) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tt2u-S7NTs
and
Don't Stop Believing

Actual video of real a GLEE CLUB (good ones too):

Well why not? I've already heard news about Japan, and China/HK remaking American film. So why not adapt GLEE for the Korean Market. Why we do that, is there any other American show that could be adapt and remake for Asia?

What's wrong with it. If America is remaking an Asian stuff, then Asia should remake an American stuff also. Fair is fair, eye for an eye.

There's already three musical dramas in the works for 2011...

Dream High, What's up and The Musical

I don't think a korean adaption of Glee is needed.
